  1. I'm personally not really upset that they're doing it. I was mostly just surprised that it happened so soon.
  2. I saw it on Instagram and was like whaaaa!?!?!?!
  3. Thanks! she's approved! TI-49051. We're going on her first troop saturday.
  4. ------------- Update: looks like the seller ended the auction. *if this is not appropriate to post, please move or delete as necessary
  5. The suit I was able to assist with didn't use bondo. He used Zap-a-gap with kicker to build up the outer seamlines quickly and we would sand it back down to a smooth uniform surface. He also reinforced the inside seams with strips as we would a regular TK.
  6. The only Anovos armor at C7 was the new TFA TK armor. They didn't have a prototype ANH TK on display. That thickness is on par w other makers (if not a little thicker?)
  7. It's relatively inexpensive (compared to a TK). Plus she was attending all the troops anyway, might as well join up officially. Some events we were having to pay for her a ticket to attend even as a handler because she wasn't 501st, this will eliminate that hassle. Sent from my ComLink
  8. She's been awesome and has attended every event I've trooped to help out and take pics. We finally decided to get her involved officially and put together a Tie Reserve to get started. She plans to do a Jawa in the future and have ordered the new Anovos ANH TK for her as well. Just wanted to share. Thanks!

  10. +1 If you're planning to troop the new movie openings with this kit, you might want a back up plan.
  11. You could get prescription sport glasses. or I've seen a guy on here take off the sides and affix the glasses inside the helmet. (just suggestions as I don't wear glasses)
  12. It's really a comfort issue. the only parts that aren't supposed to have it are wrist and ankle. As far as I know, you can trim the other edges to make it comfortable for you. Mine doesn't have edges on the thigh tops since I had to trim them down.
  13. oh man... I don't remember the guys username. I'd have to go dig for it. Maybe search for some hashtags. If I find it later I'll send it to ya. Sent from my ComLink
  14. and regarding the lift on the NDA, one builder and his crew posted a bunch of build images on Instagram yesterday. I'm assuming the NDA is no longer in play.
  15. Thanks for helping keep everyone up to date on this Tim. I was able to help a squadmate work on his TFA TK some. It's pretty amazing in person. I'll def buy one.
  16. He did have a microphone held up right there tho.
  17. You'll want to use smaller rivets (with washers/I don't have one near me to measure) to connect the plastic to the canvas. That way the covers will sit flush on top of the rivet heads. Snaps may be too big. I just built a belt last night. I should have taken step by step photos. I'll post pics of it tonight after work.
  18. Oh man! This was great! So dark and gritty. Dude w the nose ring is a total bad a--! Can't wait for more from these guys.
  19. Are you that big of a Twilight fan dude?! LOL!
  20. Great tips! I have a rough itinerary planned. I also have a post over on the Garrison Titan boards.
  21. velcro side to the inside of the calf. only velcro the shins, not the forearms
