She's been awesome and has attended every event I've trooped to help out and take pics. We finally decided to get her involved officially and put together a Tie Reserve to get started. She plans to do a Jawa in the future and have ordered the new Anovos ANH TK for her as well. Just wanted to share. Thanks!

+1 If you're planning to troop the new movie openings with this kit, you might want a back up plan.

Question about Anovos’ Armor
cm325i replied to AmyLynn98's topic in Getting Started - Read this First!
You could get prescription sport glasses. or I've seen a guy on here take off the sides and affix the glasses inside the helmet. (just suggestions as I don't wear glasses) -
That's pretty cool!

yes, that's him.

oh man... I don't remember the guys username. I'd have to go dig for it. Maybe search for some hashtags. If I find it later I'll send it to ya. Sent from my ComLink

and regarding the lift on the NDA, one builder and his crew posted a bunch of build images on Instagram yesterday. I'm assuming the NDA is no longer in play.

Thanks for helping keep everyone up to date on this Tim. I was able to help a squadmate work on his TFA TK some. It's pretty amazing in person. I'll def buy one.

He did have a microphone held up right there tho.

ANH Hero Belt and Holster
cm325i replied to dark_jedi_ire's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
You'll want to use smaller rivets (with washers/I don't have one near me to measure) to connect the plastic to the canvas. That way the covers will sit flush on top of the rivet heads. Snaps may be too big. I just built a belt last night. I should have taken step by step photos. I'll post pics of it tonight after work. -
Oh man! This was great! So dark and gritty. Dude w the nose ring is a total bad a--! Can't wait for more from these guys.

Are you that big of a Twilight fan dude?! LOL!

Great tips! I have a rough itinerary planned. I also have a post over on the Garrison Titan boards.

TK-16311 Requesting ANH Stunt EIB Status [AM][429]
cm325i replied to cm325i's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Thank you sir. I'm pissed my photos disappeared. I also keep telling myself going Centurion isn't that big of a deal... but I think I might go for it. -
If you're still shopping for armor and want it for the new movie premiers, I personally wouldn't rely on this offer (as tempting as it may be). I'd go with a vetted maker from FISD and get started building. At this point we don't know what it looks like for sure, if it will be 501st approved, or even if it will ship before the movie. Another option is to make this order but put together another costume for approval and/or ep7 premier events. Officers or Tie Reserve Pilots don't take too much upfront $$ and look great for trooping. Then you can build the new armor when it arrives. Just weighing options.

I'm ordering one for my GF. If it ends up being 501st accepted, then cool. If not, then I'll paint it pink for her.

CRXPanda's Rebuild Thread
cm325i replied to CRXPanda's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
yes, you can trim the front neck line if necessary. I'd try to utilize as much of the existing plastic curvature as possible before trying to use heat to reshape anything. Bad things can happen quickly. *you may have brought the back plate up a little too high.
