  1. Hahahaha!!! What i did to raise my shoulder bells, basically just 30 minutes ago, was i shortened the elastic strap that connects the chest and back armor, then shortened the strap that connects that to my shoulder bells. To me it looks a LOT better, im not having to fight them to stay up anymore at all! My theory on the fix was that if i can create more tension between the chest and back, then my shoulder bells would have less slack to pull down that connection, meaning my shoulder bells will stay up higher. Will be truly testing them out tomorrow at my photographer friends house for a photo shoot also have a troop or two next weekend!
  2. Great looking lid! Will be ordering mine sometime in the next 2 weeks! I blame Steve(gazmosis) for my choice of helmet LOL.
  3. Congrats Steve!!! Now get to troopin And thanks for taking the TK ID i was eyeballing LOL. Execute order 66!
  4. Hey Ron ya made any cuts yet?
  5. Gotcha. They are tapered slightly, i may taper them just a bit more, but its a squeeze to get my hands through as is lol. Thank you for your input Tim! Anything and everything helps!
  6. Man i swear i took a back of the helmet pic. Grr....lol. Ill get it when I get back home. Can't believe i forgot it!
  7. I plan on getting the TD screws blacks, just have not gotten around to it yet. As for the belt, they are recessed covers and all have the same cover to them. I have another belt that just has normal covers, but haven't had time to really get that belt attached just yet. Thanks for the compliment on painting, but its mostly decals I am not too sure i follow you about the wrists. What do ya mean? Thanks everyone!
  8. Thanks to the mod who moved this thread for me! Much obliged!
  9. Hopefully so! Good luck to you Steve! Looking forward to seeing your approval!
  10. EIB app is submitted! Updated pics on that thread too!
  11. Ah, maybe it could be cut out? Or see if AM sells just thr abdomen armor
  12. I have some available. Posting pics soon
  13. Well guys here we are! I am happy to have my submission reviewed for EIB status. The AM kit takes some pretty excessive amount of trimming to fit my body type, BUT it can be done! I do plan on taking this armor all the way to Centurion status, once the necessary components are gathered, I fully intend to further my armor with the highest level of FISD. Currently I am searching for a NE chest and back(ONLY because they are from the same maker, therefore will be a better color match). I am submitting this application, not for boasting, but to prove to myself that I can build an armor to this standard. And away we go! Mandatory Info: Name = Andrew Repasky TK ID = 24218 FISD Name = fuumantroop Garrison = Star Garrison Armor Maker = Armor Masters(AM 2.0) Helmet Maker = AM 2.0 Blaster Type = Hasbro Doopy Doos Conversion E-11 Optional: Height = 5'10 Weight = 180 lbs. 14. Ok awesome. Still trying to wrap my mind around this though lol. The ribbed shoulder straps are what are popping off. Perhaps i could just glue the top part of the elastic onto the ribber shoulder piece, then just have the other side sit behind my snaps
  15. No elastic in that picture, just wanted to show what I am working with
  16. Here is a bit of my issue, i dont have much plastic for the elastic to hold on to. Right now, i have the elastic tied up and sitting behind the snaps on my shoulder bridge of my back armor. -------------
  17. only issue is i have no seeing machine :/ I may try to glue them to the shoulder bridges and see how that works. what i may have to do is just heat bend the plastic a bit to curve a little better. Everytime i reach to put the elastic back over one shoulder strap, the other pops out
  18. But wouldn't that void a Centurion application?
  19. Anyone else have issues with the straps coming out from under the white elastic? It was driving me crazy the other day, and its definitely not an easy adjustment once your suited up. Any and all tips would be greatly appreciated!
  20. Plastoupee In all seriousness though, looks great! I think im going that route on my next helmet
