  1. Idk why two belts come with the kit, but count it as a blessing. The movie accurate belt is labeled A, and the rivet covers are cut out from one of the D labeled buttons. The other D is a side panel ab button for a TD. C are the shoulder straps for a TD G is the screen accurate ab panel(you just cut off the excess, see my build) and E is the movie accurate side ab panel buttons(also will need to be cut out to size) H and I go with belt B(i dont know why they come with fwo different sets) F is another TK ab button(your kit should have came with round metallic bolts(9 of them, also with nuts)
  2. So if I am wanting to use a memorex headset to reduce wiring, and also use a PTT cable to take out unwanted coughing, sneezing, or just so the public cant hear me...would i just plug the Memorex receiver patch cable into the Y cable of the PTT, then plugging that into the aker voice amp? Anyone done this?
  3. The bottom of the ear should cover that gap. i would go ahead and knock those out, then go from there
  4. I cant remember the names, but any quik detail car wax spray should woro as well. Lets wait for someone else to chime in on that as well. Novus does work great, but if its not locally available I would search for another product.
  5. From what ive seen, the ipod shuffle is the go to player. Mostly due to its size and weight. Or should i say lack there of lol. Could always find a used one for a good price
  6. At that height. Your best bet are either AM or RT Mod. Both are great kits, ones built more for trooping than screen accuracy, but it comes down to a personal choice at that point. Can't go wrong with either kit. The other armors will require some mods to properly fit your height and weight, as they are really aimed at people that are 5'10 and around 160 lbs. it can be done though!
  7. Was just merely a suggestion to keep everyone happy, thats all. I personally have no intentions in getting a FX helmet, but others with money constraints may see some benefit to this. Still wondering why disney decided to make the TK helmets look so, different?
  8. You will want to heat bend your main ammo belt. It will relieve stress on your snaps and make putting your blaster back in your holster MUCH easier. I learned the hard way :/
  9. As long as the joint is near the middle you'll be fine. Remember, screen accurate also means there are differences in suits just take a look at the screen references and even the EIB/Centurion submissions. Not one armor is the same, and not one armor will ever be the same as the other Move along
  10. Not endorsing the FX buckets by any means, but perhaps with the Star Wars Rebels out in full force, maybe we could create a Rebels TK where FX buckets could be approved for. I mean the Clones get to have animated versions, why not TKs?
  11. Great job Scott! Looks much better!
  12. Nice build Tomas! Stand looks great!
  13. Awesome!!!! I hipe to share the same with my boy one day! As for sharing pics, its best to use photobucket or flickr, or any other photo hosting site to share here. Congrats to both of you! I certainly hope I have started this new trend in my family as well
  14. I had to the other day lol, im so glad I separated my COD now! My main concern about the one piece, is what if the Browns were trying to make it to the Superb Owl...dun dun duuuuun
  15. June 19, 2015 at 3:54 AM Congrats! Perhaps its time to get cable to keep you and your spouse pre occupied LOL
  16. Have not gotten to try out the aker just yet, but have been playing around with the placement on the chest. I had it on the left peck at first, but it felt like it anchored my chest plate a bit too much. Going to try mounting it in the middle of the chest tomorrow. I have a memorex wireless set up on the way, along with a set of Karins "authentic line" latex handguards from another Garrison member who did not need them. now i need to pick up another set of gloves to get those glued on! Hoping to pull the trigger on a new chest and back plate soon as well! This armor certainly is addicting!
  17. Ditto with Eric...definitely don't want to rush a TK build Scott. Give me a shout if ya have any questions about anything bro. You have my number. As for shims, im not too familiar with those as my armor needed excessive trimming. Go slow if ya need to, the TK armor is a little different than your Tusken
  18. Looking good bro! Can't wait to start on my Next bucket. Narrowed my choices to ATA and MTK. Keep up the good work!
  19. You want screws for the TD.
  20. That is just killer!! I want one!
  21. It came in! Man that was FAST!!
