  1. That COD though lol. That troopers packing LOL
  2. Ill measure them when I get home this afternoon just out of curiosity. Going to get my belt attached to my ab armor, then, submission pics!
  3. Round 2 of touch ups and cleaning up. Its a tad imperfect, but then again thats the whole point right? I am no painter by any means, I have never painted a model in my life until this armor build. How does it look?
  4. First round of cleaning up and touching up. Along with gluing the central ab button plage. Still a work in progress, but getting close I apologize for the lack of lighting, just trying to at least capture the outlining of the buttons thus far.
  5. Align the edges of the belt and boxes. Per the level 3 req on the crl
  6. Looks good in the pic. I see no gore
  7. I was saying it may be best to use those on the other belt. Should have had 2 belts come with your kit. I have extras of the recessed covers if you'd like them. Just pay shipping and their yours
  8. Nice! Wish i could just find them locally
  9. http://www.buckleguy.com/rv779-double-cap-rivet-cap-7mm-post-7-9mm-nickel-matte-solid-brass-100-per-bag/ Found this for the speed rivets. Yes you get a whole 100 of them, but its only $11 before shipping. Id be interested in splitting these if your interested
  10. Except i took the pic on the clock! Lol. Well my machine was running so i have that to my advantage
  11. Flattened out the clips, how does that look?
  12. That is one clean build! Congrats trooper! Awesome work on the armor!!
  13. Heres my first coat of testors paint. A little rough right now, but I will be using paint thinner to clean it up tomorrow, just like I did with my helmet. Also painted my side rivets
  14. I don't think so. Just as long as they fit and theres a square around the circle. I think most just eyeball it from the photo references
  15. Do it now! *arnold voice*
  16. I only know cause im going through it now lol
  17. There should have also been these with your kit. Cut the squares out of one of these around the circles
  18. With your kit, ya shoulda gotten two belts. One with a resessed area for the raised rivet hiders, and another with just pre marked dimples. Just use the other belt
  19. Ok, need advise. How does this look? Has not been glued yet, just trimmed and sitting on top for the time befor paint
  20. Looks great Clint! Thinking about getting a MTK myself one day!
  21. I know I know! Ill have to rebuild my armor budget first lol. Ill be awaiting that Centurion submission with that armor Steve! Great work on that craftsmanship to both Walt and Steve! Looks amazing!
  22. You can, like i said, i have seen AM EIB approved builds with that belt on. Just for the sake of accuracy, it would be better to use the other belt
  23. Looks awesome Steve! Makes me want to get one together for my 5 year old!
  24. Just because it has recessed rivet hiders(the 3 square buttons on the belt at the ends and the middle). Its perfectly fine for basic approval and MAYBE EIB, but its not "screen accurate" and probably would deny a Centurion request. I have seen EIB approvals with others using that belt though
  25. Will do! Just gotta bring them to work and grind them a bit on our bench grinder
