  1. Looks good! The only suggestion I have is it looks like your holster is too far back. Obviously wait for Steve to make the call... Good luck trooper
  2. I don't have a backstory but I got my TK number from Van Halen 5150 song. A buddy of mine suggested it when I was looking at numbers. I always loved the guitar riff on that song and always remember in a concert video they put out Sammy Hagar saying 5150 is police code for some one crazy, flipped out....I'm not really crazy
  3. Looks good. Do you have black straps on the bottom of the shoulder bells? Also, a recommendation will be to move the ends of your TD clips so they line up against the edge of the control panel and switch out the screws with slot head screws. These two things probably won't hurt your EIB application. They're more for centurion.... Best of luck fellow trooper!
  4. I wish I had done a build thread.....What a great list! Should be in the getting started section!
  5. The tube stripes don't really need to be hand painted. Only the traps and tear drops need to be painted or use Dave M hand painted decals for centurion...
  6. LOL...yeah, peel them off slowly! Use a sewing needle or something small the get them started. I did it but can understand if you're not comfortable doing it....can you post side pics of your helmet?
  7. You can slowly peel the stripes off and place them on again.
  8. Just a suggestion....think about painting the inside of your helmet flat black. It helps keep light out and any little kids trying to look up will see darkness. I'm glad I did it. Just a suggestion
  9. See you've got a mini-trooper standing guard lol
  10. Going slow is the best idea! Remove the remaining material from the eyes and frown and you should be good... Having more fun than you thought yet?
  11. Unless its the lighting in the pic, looks like you have some return edges that shouldn't be there...if so, sorry if you misunderstood.. I marked it in red...sorry about the red line at the inner top right eye (looking at the pic) goes up a little, it should be straight....you get the idea. Here's a pic of mine...
  12. Trim it just a little more so you have a nice flat edge going around....you might just want to sand that excess down. take a look at some of the EIB and Centurion pics and you'll see...forearms look good so far....
  13. If you aren't going for EIB then what's the problem?
  14. Congrats and welcome to Centurion!
  15. I went with what was most comfortable. There's only 11 dents on each arm so 12 on right and 11 on the left obviously won't work.
  16. Yeah, a lot of rubber band victims in my build too! E6000 is the best choice in my opinion! Strong but easily let's you take things apart if needed!
  17. Looking good so far
  18. Looks a lot better and glad to hear you don't walk like 3PO lol
  19. Here's my forearms..if I am understanding correctly.....I wonder if you have some more trimming to do. Mine came trimmed. The only thing I had to do was get rid of the return edges on the wrists.
  20. Such a rough life!
  21. You still got this! Think adjustments will always happen no matter what!
  22. That's awesome!'
  23. Right handed. It just feels natural but trying left handed to see if can get used to it...
