  1. I had my eye on that kit for a minute, scoop it up, most likely will not last long...
  2. Why not, they still should be sending me the last few components, so I guess they could throw it in the box too.... Now, if I could just get a response....
  3. Good work everyone. FISD Rocks...
  4. Also, as well as inexpensive signs, Trooperbay has 4 x 12 inch pieces for sale. I think they are $12.00 for two pieces.
  5. Ha, yes Todd, but they are protective from rubber band guns..lol... It was fun.
  6. Yes the brow trim that came with my RS lid kit, is about a half inch too short, it was already pre cut, and it is about a quarter inch from the ends of each of the traps. Trooperbay , here I come...
  7. Evan... Ha, I love your signature gif... Funny. Yeah, I took it easy getting up there very carefully. My son was a bit of an antagonist but when it was over we laughed and smiled. He took a video of me climbing up, omg so funny. I left my helmet on, not sure why, but that made it that much more difficult.
  8. Thanks Vern, I may try that. I have both ears lined up pretty good on the helmet trap line, but I may try and slide one ear down just a touch. Thanks fellas...
  9. Thanks guys, these photos are kinda on the flattering side. I will get some other angles , but thank you guys, maybe after I sleep on it, I'll feel different in the morning. I had no clue I would get that far today, I didn't think I would get past the brow trim. The four hours does include setting the cap with rivets. The eyes I did yesterday afternoon, and sanded this morning.
  10. Looks Good Frank, those Tube stripe adjustments, and you'll be straight. How long did your ears Take? I have about four hours between the two of mine...
  11. Thanks Glen, I was thinking I may need to rework the Right ear, the top lined up ok, but the bottom, I had to flex in to get it to lay flat. I hate forcing stuff. The left ear laid in Nice...
  12. Started yet another project. This one kinda got bumped to the front of the line. Just so darn interesting. TM is really some good looking armour, so i figured i would give my hand a try at a lid... Started trimming the eyes and helmet. I think I will take a bit more out of the eyes. Fitting brow trim. Love the low brow. Getting lined up for rivets. Fitting the ears. About two hours each... Got one ... Not too shabby... This one... meh.... Gaps make me CRAZY... Again This side ok.... So, Any suggestions? One side is definitely better, any tricks to make the right ear tighter. or should I get another set of ears? Go ahead, Let Me Hold It... I'm All Ears...
  13. Ok, I have been wanting to get some photos on my roof, as we use the stormtrooper on our logo, as the original stormtroopers. Us being roofers, and usually going in after the storms... anyway...
  14. I have A completed RS kit, and it is a nice fitting kit, very comfortable to wear . Cons would be wait time for a completed kit and a few details that could be taken care of with a little extra work. They are a prop replica of an original suit made the way they were in 1977 , so they are asymmetrical and imperfect by nature which gives them a real feel of the original Stormtroopers , all the quirks in all it's glory will be present on RS. This makes RS distinctive.
  15. I apologize for the bad lighting, they looked good until i posted them. i will try and get some other photos later... Again, Paul does excellent work.
  16. OK, so i figured i would post a few pictures of the individual pieces of armour. Paul was a pleasure to work with and really went out of his way to make sure i was satisfied. The armour was fitting like a glove, and was very comfortable to wear. here are a few photos.
  17. Nice Work... A little bit at a time makes all the difference in the world...
  18. Dang right lookin sharp...
  19. RS is pretty nice, they are working on a killer Boba Fett right now, but should be able to accommodate . Check out Troopermaster also, he provides excellent products as well. Good luck.
  20. I'm sure you will make it awesome....
