  1. Great job, Adam. I also like the worn collar strap with your TK ID in Aurebesh.
  2. Congrats on finishing this beautiful blaster, Adam. Although it happened already three weeks ago, I am glad you still showed us your last steps. Yes, the electronics from a Disney blaster are not that loud but you managed to find a good way to optimize it. Wishing you a lot of fun with this E-11.
  3. Loving your Pink Floyd shirt. Seems we also share the same taste in music... Oh and great job done on the helmet of course.
  4. Yes, but I didn't want to hijack your thread here, so I just sent you a PM with a link to the photos.
  5. Great build, Dan. Did the same, based on a Tie helmet from RS and even transferred all damages and scratches visible at starwarshelmets.com What about running a black hose from hole to hole? (around the rear of the stand)
  6. Hello Matt and welcome to the FISD. You already have a Legion-ID, so you can request 501st access here to see more subsections.
  7. Hi Paul and welcome to the FISD. Why not getting in contact with your local Garrison or Squad?! Eventually you aim to joining them anyway.
  8. Hi Vanessa and welcome here. As you already have a Legion-ID, you can also request 501st access here to see more subsections on FISD. Hoping your first troop went well and have fun out there with your new suit.
  9. Thanks Adam. After reading about your specific blaster, I would now agree to use the hollowed counter for the electronics. The mentioned vent slots will also help for good sound and that is even better, if you hold the grip with your left hand, so the sound can travel straight to the folks.
  10. Wow, this grip is outstanding. Keeping fingers crossed for your new modification. Or inside the end cap, so the sound can escape easier through the charging handle slot. Bear in mind, the Disney electronics are not that loud. Maybe this works for you: In case it does, here is a link to how I installed the exact same electronics into my E-11.
  11. Hello Mike and welcome to the FISD. Congrats on buying your TK kit. If you have built clone armor, you will surely be able to build a TK, too. But don't underestimate the power of the dark side. However, as you already have a Legion-ID, you can request 501st access here to see a bit more of our beautiful FISD. Take your time, do your research, check other build threads (preferably those for Centurion level) and when the time has come, start your own build thread, so we can follow you along the process and give advice.
  12. Congratulations for reaching EIB, Luca. Glad to see you made it. To not leave you bored at home, the team has pointed out some minor things for Centurion which I am sure, you will be capable of fixing. Looking forward to your next update...
  13. Hi Jayson. Congratulations on your approval and welcome to the team.
  14. Keeping fingers crossed for your higher level application(s). It has been a pleasure to meet you again and especially to hand over that E-11 to you. I hope it lasts a very long time and you will have a lot of fun with it.
  15. The center hole on the muzzle is 11mm inner diameter.
  16. Yep, I can confirm a lot of love went into this suit. The sum of all these improvements will help to get the higher levels and you deserve it. Note to FISD staff: could someone please tell this overachiever we do not have level 4? Looking forward to our next meeting, Luca. I then might have something to hand over to you...
  17. Any plans to run a build thread for that as well? If so, please make sure to link it here, so we don't miss it. Would love to see this coming to life.
  18. Sounds great. Not sure if you have seen this, but although being designed for E-11, it might contain some ideas to get inspiration from. Good luck for your blaster rack.
  19. Dang. Being an old-school resin blaster builder, I always stayed away from 3D-prints. Seems like time has come to re-think this point of view... I really like this blaster.
  20. Wow, Dave. Congrats on completing this beautiful blaster. Looking at the surface makes it hard to believe this is a 3D printed kit. Absolutely outstanding. Also seeing the Blast-FX installed to a DLT-19 takes this to another level. Not to mention your paint-jobs. It paid off to go that deep into multi-layer paint and research for weathering. An absolute piece of art. Take good care of it and have a lot of fun when trooping with it.
  21. Hello Rob and welcome to the FISD. I enjoyed reading your great backstory.
  22. Hello Marcel, congrats on your approval and welcome to the FISD. Looking forward to meeting you on a troop this year.
  23. Wow! Outstanding job, Joseph. Looking at your reference photos below, I just noticed the counters being parallel to the folding stock, not the receiver tube. Hadn't seen this before so all my builds and the FISD E-11 Blaster Reference show the parallel installation. How do we treat this? Leave it up to everybody individually? Seems to be the same issue with the placement of the power cylinders on top of the magazine well: parallel to the receiver tube or parallel to the angled end of the magazine well? What do you think?
  24. You will need both colors here. See photo below for details. Trigger, trigger guard and outer housing of the fire control assembly are black, while the interior is aluminum or metal color. The grip is gloss black.
