  1. Do both, If you like, just sub the pics when your done, for approval. You always keep the same ID number, that is for life.
  2. Some people use Woodland Scenics pigments usualy use Raw Umber #C1221, and Burnt Umber #C1222. One of the UKG guys did a nice tutorial over on MEPD. hope that helps some.
  3. It should stick just fine. trim off what you can of the old stuff for fit though.
  4. Redoing my lid and want to make sure the tube stripes are french blue as well
  5. I have used E6000 on almost everything and it sticks most anything to anything else fabric to plastic elastic to plastic, and I have used a ton in some places and less in others, no sanding has been required before use by me I havent had a warp in any of my parts, but you can use a little less on the thiner parts. having used E6000 i have taken my thighs apart at least 3 times with the help of a hobby knife after weeks in place. clean up with it is a sharp hobby knife and score and pull. its usually good overnight but full cure is 24 hours. put a little on and clamp the heck out of it overnight and you are usually good. I have used zap a gap and a kicker for smaller parts but most sucess with E6000.
  6. Pretty! wish my hands were steady enough for hand painting.
  7. Future polish is good stuff, model makers use it on clear plastic parts to take out small scratches, it fills in small nicks and kind of leaves a thin layer like a sealer / clear coat but, it is not permanent and MAY yellow over time. I have one of scootche's buckets myself its a great lid. try the future on a small area first to see if you like the results. you can also consider a spray on clear coat in simi gloss or gloss. just remeber to get as much of that wax off as you can, or it can cause problems if you try a clear coat. other wise few more layers of wax. holpe that helps some.
  8. yeah I did the same a pemcil and a computer look at a picture and mark. good times. have fun!
  9. Excitement is good! I know waiting is the hard part. keep us informed, we got your back!
  10. your on the right track. as for fabric, maybe you could check a second hand store for an old womans top in the texture you are looking for,
  11. agreed. unless you are shooting for EIB or Cent then the DO will decide. you could go with a "bra strap" closure kind of like the Shin closures under the cover strip so i wouldnt be seen.
  12. do you have the strap from bicep to foreare set up I have big forearms i use the foam to keep them from rotating but the dont move up and down much lol
