Also, im going to replace the mic tips, would the ones with built in speakers work with the amp or should i just get the regular ones?

So i've decided to toss the setup i have and get the Aker amp, but without the iComm. Where would i mount the amp? I heard people put it on the inside of the chest piece, but does that sound good?

Hey I recently purchased some armour and when i received it, it had already had some type of headset configuration. In the first picture there is that foreign object to me, I'm not sure if that is a mic or what purpose it has in the helmet. Under that material is a wire running from that and wires running from the mic tips. In the second picture you can see the circuit board and that's how it looked when i received it. When you twist the dial to turn it on there is a faint static sound that comes from the tips. My question is ; What the hell is missing to get this working? If anyone knows if i'm missing something ( pretty sure the middle thing is not a mic and i'm missing a mic) what kind of mic should i get and where would i get it?

You can tell there is a bit of a gap in between my leg and the thigh piece. The boxes are held on by velcro,and the shoulder and back piece are held together by velcro on the shoulder.Same goes for the knee cap piece. Is there a way i could secure these pieces other than using velcro? Also, just from taking pictures i can tell that i need to shorten the length on the straps going from the thighs to the belt, where would i buy those straps with snaps or would i have to make them?

Hey everyone! I recently purchased a set of armor from a guy a few months back, and the whole thing is held together with velcro and a couple snaps. Any tips on making it a bit more durable? Also, i guess the last person that had it was bigger because the thigh pieces don't fit too well. They usually end up sliding down my leg and it makes it harder to walk in. Right now its held up with a snap going from the belt to the thigh piece, but there is still too much moving around. Any advice would be appreciated!
