  1. Congratulations Sam and welcome to the ranks
  2. I don't believe there is complete comparison page posted as yet, there have been a few differences noticed and posted in a few threads though. No doubt a CRL will be in the works at some stage but who knows when that would be completed. There is not as much film reference for the TLJ TK's as yet compared to the TFA's before that movies release, lots of promo kit FOTK's around back then.
  3. Coming along nicely, good luck
  4. I've seen a few builds on local forums for the heightwarldy challenged and one in particular cut off some of the chest and back plate, made a wooden jig and heated and bent over a new return, not for the faint hearted but came out looking great and really fitted her height.
  5. Off to a great start, good luck with the build
  6. I would think it will be like the original trilogy TK's, each movie had it's own CRL as there are differences, so I doubt you could use a TLJ helmet for TFA approval.
  7. Shame about the bells but the rest is looking nice
  8. Coming along nicely, every little bit adds up in the end, keep up the good work and you will be there in no time
  9. The art work on the box had a black yoke though, probably just got missed in production of the figure, one of the Funko Pops is exactly the same, no black yoke but it is on the artwork on the box. Most other figures and artwork seen so far has the black yoke
  10. Congratulations and welcome to the ranks trooper
  11. Congratulations and welcome to the ranks trooper
  12. If you give them a little tap first with a Philips head screw driver it helps to split the posts and they will ben over and grip better
  13. Not heard of this one before, sounds pretty cheap though but seems to have received fairly good feedback.
  14. Looking forward to the progress, good luck
  15. Depends where you are trying to post, some areas you need a minimum of posts to access
  16. I don't wear one with my OTTK helmet as I painted black inside which helps to hide my face and chin but I do wear one in my FOTK as the opening is a little wider and I like to be well hidden. I have fans in both helmets facing upwards/across, it helps circulate the air quite well and keep the screen clear. I only use one fan at a time or the two together can create a air block in the centre. Besides it's nice to be able to switch over during a long day of trooping if one battery back runs out
  17. I placed some foam in front of my forehead, just enough to help bring it backwards a little and away from the chest.
  18. Congrats on approval and welcome to the ranks trooper
  19. APPROVED

  23. Heaven forbid we can't scare those younglings
