  1. 10-20 minutes for me. The hardest part for me is trying to reach over and snap the second shoulder bell on. I have to sit when putting my shins on.
  2. Love the wood grip handle look.
  3. Thoughts and prayers for you and your family.
  4. That's what Trooperbay's video suggested and that's what I did. It worked out really well. Take note that the width of the pencil marks the edge of the stripes and not the template (if you're using a template to paint). 5. I can't remember how long I stared at my tube template before I started painting my stripes for that very reason. I was so scared I would paint them on backwards.
  6. Has anyone gotten the ATA armor in black?
  7. I have this one as well. It's padded with blankets (soon to be foam padding) and has plenty of space for all of my armor, boots, weapons, sound system, etc. Works very well.
  8. It's a good "bad habit" to have, Mike. With the information so readily and easily available there's NO excuse not to research anything, ESPECIALLY a high dollar purchase these days. I'm the same way especially with regards to high dollar items like armor and electronics. You found the right forum.
  9. Is a Shadow Stormtrooper (Special Ops) just a Stormtrooper in black armor? Who provides the best options for a Shadow Stormtrooper? A friend of mine (5' 11"...225 lbs) is interested in getting a kit.
  10. Be sure to leave enough lip for your brow trim.
  11. You can get a few pieces of rubber and wedge it between the face and lid above the eyes. It's a temporary fix.
  12. Great job, Simon! Paul's armor is just beautiful and you did a fantastic job building it! Your blaster work and paint details are awesome! Congrats!
  13. Congrats! When I got accepted to the 501st, I went the 501st web site and took a picture of the home page that welcomed newest recruits (with my name at the top), and then went to my profile and took a pic of that too. You could say I was a little excited.
  14. Great job, Si! Awesome pics! TM makes some great armor (I own the 1.5 mm TM armor)! It looks fantastic! The biceps hooks technique looks great.
  15. That is great news! Looking forward to seeing pics of your finished blaster.
  16. I hope not for your sake. But I will say communication with them leaves something to be desired.
  17. I got mine from Walmart, but I've also seen it at hobby stores.
  18. Working well on my iphone!
  19. One of the most rewarding parts of my build was hand painting my helmet. I highly suggest it. It looks so good when you're done. Good luck!
  20. Every new cast you show looks fantastic! I can't wait to get my kit so I can stop borrowing my fellow trooper's Hyperfirm (and I can get my Centurion status-eh, Mathias ). I wouldn't be opposed to my kit being white. Would the black plastic make it more difficult to make it look more weathered?
  21. Awesome!!! Congrats!!!
  22. You're welcome. I'm just excited to help keep the project going sooner than later. I know you'll produce a great product. Keep up the good work.
