That's what Trooperbay's video suggested and that's what I did. It worked out really well. Take note that the width of the pencil marks the edge of the stripes and not the template (if you're using a template to paint).

I can't remember how long I stared at my tube template before I started painting my stripes for that very reason. I was so scared I would paint them on backwards.
I have this one as well. It's padded with blankets (soon to be foam padding) and has plenty of space for all of my armor, boots, weapons, sound system, etc. Works very well.
It's a good "bad habit" to have, Mike. With the information so readily and easily available there's NO excuse not to research anything, ESPECIALLY a high dollar purchase these days. I'm the same way especially with regards to high dollar items like armor and electronics. You found the right forum.
Is a Shadow Stormtrooper (Special Ops) just a Stormtrooper in black armor? Who provides the best options for a Shadow Stormtrooper? A friend of mine (5' 11"...225 lbs) is interested in getting a kit.
Congrats! When I got accepted to the 501st, I went the 501st web site and took a picture of the home page that welcomed newest recruits (with my name at the top), and then went to my profile and took a pic of that too. You could say I was a little excited.
Every new cast you show looks fantastic! I can't wait to get my kit so I can stop borrowing my fellow trooper's Hyperfirm (and I can get my Centurion status-eh, Mathias ). I wouldn't be opposed to my kit being white. Would the black plastic make it more difficult to make it look more weathered?
