Thermal Detonator or?
Geaux Saints replied to russellr2d2's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
Was it up, down, left, left, X, Y or up, down, right, left, A, B, LB, RB? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
I believe at that price you could buy from just about any of the approved armorers on FISD and know you have a quality, approvable kit.

Geaux Saints' ANH stunt build (TM)
Geaux Saints replied to Geaux Saints's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Yes, right arm. I have loved the elastic band connecting the bicep and forearm. No armor bites at all for me with this setup. -
Every single word in Star Wars sorted alphabetically in one video

I had thought about that a while back.. I think the word lightsaber is said only four times in the OT, none in ESB. -
Short Trooper. Trim Thighs.
Geaux Saints replied to A Master Builder's topic in Assembly, Mods, and Painting
I had the same problems with my thighs. I trimmed some of the bottom of the shins, but it didn't solve my problem. I ended up trimming some of the top of the thighs and it fits a lot better. -
Anyone know where to get ANH tube transfers to paint?
Geaux Saints replied to Mac's topic in Assembly, Mods, and Painting
Yep, I wasn't aware at the time of my build that there was a difference, but I'm sure as hell not going to remove the stripes and repaint them. -

I believe the bottom one in the picture goes on the left tube and the one on top goes on the right. I think the stripes are suppose to curve away from the frown. -

I used trooperbay's templates as well. Worked very well. -

TM Armour.... 1.5mm vs 2.0mm
Geaux Saints replied to stearman_325's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
This. I got the 1.5 mm because of the flexibility and screen accuracy plus I wanted to go with the original strapping (which you can only do with the more flexible 1.5mm). I love it and get comments all the time about how great it looks. I'm sure TM will send you a sample piece of each to see for yourself. Either way will be an awesome suit. -
I like it. Bet it would be cool with the electronics, but would be a pain to walk in.

SDS (Shepperton Design Studio) E-11 Blaster photo report
Geaux Saints replied to Ales's topic in General Weapons Discussion
At first I thought it was cool looking. But seeing the rest of the pics, it is very rough looking. Not crazy about the parts being held down by screws. Using the rivet for the sight is just lazy IMO. -
TK 4718 Requesting ANH Stunt EIB status [TM] [347]
Geaux Saints replied to Marc's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Congrats! Is it just me or does it look like there should be a little more trimming on the upper part of the eye sockets? -
I thought that was what we were doing. For some of these prices his friend COULD get some good armor. But if it will make you feel better....... Please tell your friend to look around here first to see if he can find something that he might like a little better for the cost before buying from those ebay auctions.

Some of my favorite lines in the 3rd "suit" description: This suit has been used and worn so it has some battle scars and scuffs, but to be honest I just think that adds to the authenticity as an unmarked mirror shiny one would just look fake. This costume looks the absolute business when on, and all the pieces are there including the rare neck seal. There really is nothing like turning up to a party in a genuine Storm Trooper costume as the compliments are endless (and the girls secretly love it ;-) When I bought it, the guy told me he was unsure as to whether it was actually prop, but that it was cast from the original moulds. The boots which came with the suit were a little too heavy, to be fair I wore my golf shoes which looked fine. <--------
