  2. I put mine directly through the armor. I don`t know anybody who uses Snap Plates for that, but maybe.
  3. Yeah, sell it or get a Refund and get a better Armor from one of the Vetted Makers. Just look here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=11538 For pricing, you have to ask them, just write them a email.
  4. I used Humbrol too, and I let it dry overnight, or at least 12 Hours. Be Patient with Humbrol and you get awsome results. I painted the Helmet Day by Day and Layer on Layer. Hope that helps.
  5. Come on, show them, we love Pics!
  6. I like it, looks really good!
  7. That weathering looks awsome. Great Job!
  8. Many Thanks for this Detachement. It helped me a lot when I started my Idea to become a Stormtrooper! And I am Proud to be a part of it now!
  9. The Ears are the hardest Part from the whole Armor! You need to be patient with them.
  10. I used a model-scalpel to cut it to the shape I needed. Then I used a small file to smooth out the shape. It took a while, so be patient and take your Time. Luckily for me, ATA ships two sets of Ears, because my first try wasn`t that good.
  11. That is an easy explanation. I am just a Big Fan from the Movie Gremlins and here we are, I am using Mogwai for my Screen Name. And I was surprised that it was still available Sometimes on other Boards or Games, I am also use Gizmo as a Screen Name. So, thats my story, not that long!
  12. Very good Job on the Armor. Congrats to Centurion. Glückwunsch, wirklich gute Arbeit.
  13. Looks good so far. Did you cut the Edges of your Belt to a 45° Angle allready? On your First Pics they were still rectangular. Looking forward to see more Pics.
  14. Looks really good so far, great work. And for my Armor, I used the Coverstripes Method from the beginning. It is a little bit more work, but it is definitely worth it. I would go for that, if I were you. For your Bucket, like it was said before, your Ears need more trimming. And Yes, the Tube Stripes one the Right Side are facing the Wrong Way. And I think, the Tears have to fill out the whole Space with the Paint. But these are Easy Changes and after Changing them, your Bucket will look great.
  15. Cut your Ear Parts to the right shape, hold them to the Helmet, then you will see where the last screws have to go!
  16. I just used Screws, no Rivets for that hole at the bottom. After I trimmed the Ears, I used that same hole to screw the Ear to the Helmet.
  17. Yeah, looks good to me too!
  18. Like he said, don`t drill to fast. It could happen, that the rivet get hot and melts your Plastic. So, be Patient.
  19. That is so cute, awsome!
  20. Looks good so far. Something on the Belt I would change to make it look better. Cut it a little bit more on the Upside and Downside (I hope you understand what I mean with my bad English ) For me, you left too much Plastic there. Then cut the edges to a 45 degree Angle. That way it will look a lot more better and Screen Accurate.
  21. I just cleaned it and then put the paint on. You have to paint several thin Layers, and let the paint allways dry.
  22. Great Girl in a Great Suit!
  23. Great Mod with the Hengstler. I think I try that myself!
