  1. Cut your Ear Parts to the right shape, hold them to the Helmet, then you will see where the last screws have to go!
  2. I just used Screws, no Rivets for that hole at the bottom. After I trimmed the Ears, I used that same hole to screw the Ear to the Helmet.
  3. Like he said, don`t drill to fast. It could happen, that the rivet get hot and melts your Plastic. So, be Patient.
  4. Looks good so far. Something on the Belt I would change to make it look better. Cut it a little bit more on the Upside and Downside (I hope you understand what I mean with my bad English ) For me, you left too much Plastic there. Then cut the edges to a 45 degree Angle. That way it will look a lot more better and Screen Accurate.
  5. I just cleaned it and then put the paint on. You have to paint several thin Layers, and let the paint allways dry.
  6. Great Mod with the Hengstler. I think I try that myself!
  7. I have a ATA as well and a huge Head! No Problem with it. I Just do the Twist, when I put it on or off. Like said before, once you wear it, you have plenty of room.
  8. Right now, still no answer from them, about the DLT-19.
  9. And buy as many clamps as you can carry, in different sizes. You can`t have enough of them!
  10. So, I send a email today to Doopydoos, to order an DLT-19! Lets see How long it takes, to get a response.
  11. Just leave the gaps open. In the Movies, they had also some gaps. I think, that Ear look fine. When you screw this to the Helmet, it will fit better, you will see. Here you can see my ATA Helmet with the Right Ear.
  12. Great help, Thanks for the Photos. Helped me with my Scope, that I just received. And I could open the Screws very easily.
  13. Good Luck with the Build. And I also can say, use E6000. It is the best way if you messed something up.
  14. Looks great, I have the same Helmet and Armor. I would cut the Teeth a little bit more, but not much. Looking forward, to see more pics from your build.
  15. I ordered at the End of last November and 12 Weeks later I had the Brown Box in my Hands. But the Wait was worth it. I love my ATA Kit.
  16. Like he said, trim the Return Edge and the Corners of the Belt and then Bent it with a Heat Gun. But very Carefully, don´t get it too Hot. Be Patient, bent it always just a little bit, not too much.
  17. Wow, thanks, that is great and I am very Happy now! It really took me some Time, but it was worth it and I am Proud to be a Part of that Group. And I am going to think about removing that Return Edge. Right now I have no Problems with it, but you may be right that it would look better. Thanks for that Info.

  19. Hallo! Also man brauch beim Rüstungsbau kein Meister des Handwerks zu sein. Hab also keine Angst vorm "trimmen" ! Ich hab ein ATA Kit und da musste Ich auch alles selber trimmen, anpassen, etc.! Du wirst hinterher noch mehr Freude daran haben, wenn du dein Werk siehst. Also so geht es mir.
