  1. Um hasn't this been already discussed on pages 35 and 36? Your armor appears to be some sort of FX cast armor that you show in your pictures on the website as Mathias and MightyTank (AM) have mentioned...
  2. Hey Shawn this website is selling armor called Jedi Robe. Stay very far away from this. Follow the link that has been posted above and read through that entire thread. That will steer you in the right direction.
  3. Congrats Ryan! Your armor looks great! It is indeed a great feeling to get your number. Look forward to seeing your EIB submission soon!
  4. Hi Henry and welcome. Here is a link with 69 pages on anovos to help your eyes start to bleed. Short answer is that it is too early to tell but probably okay for base approval. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/30831-anovos-tk-armor-preorder/
  5. Congrats Brad! Your armor looks great!
  6. Brandon you have done a great job and it is great to see another MTK build reach the higher standards.
  7. Congrats Stein! Welcome to Centurion! Great build. Congrats Walt! I'm sure there will be many more applications in the future.
  8. Congrats Brandon. Another great example of a MTK kit. Great job!
  9. Hey Stein! That didn't take long for your Centurion application. Like I said before you have a great set of armor. Do you have the kidney notches? It looks like it from that one interior shot but it is hard to tell. Also did you fix that 4 button ab plate? Good luck and this should be an easy one. Is it just me or when you click on your link to your EIB submission in your post it takes me to a TM EIB thread?
  10. I do see where you are coming from and how you are trying to help. The only reason I chimed in is because according to Mathias in the thread that I posted, this website does not show the differences between the versions. According to Mathias this website is selling NE and not AM2. So the difference you see in those comparison photos are the old AM and NE. Not AM2. I just wanted to post that thread on there for Timothy to read so he would know that he wasn't looking at AM2.
  11. Yes using mytkarmor.com. Nothing wrong with AM armor, just this provider as stated by Mathias in this thread.
  12. Donated! Happy to Help this great forum! Transaction ID 7U381896W96188256
  13. Well I would be careful about going here... http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/30824-armor-company/
  14. Yup I absolutely mistook them. I agree with you. If they aren't shims then they should be black. When I was looking at the photos I was thinking to myself that the gap wasn't too much more than 1/2" and he should just take it out. I also guess I should look around at some photos more because I have not seen velcro pulling together the interior before. Guess thats why I didn't think of it.
  15. Hi Desmond. I guess my question for you is about your belt. Maybe it is the way the photos are taken, but your belt looks tan/light brown. The belt is supposed to be white or off white. Also I'm not sure exactly how shims are viewed for EIB, but I believe they are supposed to sit flush with the ab and kidney. But of course I would have other members with more experience weigh in on these things. Good luck!
  16. Shay have you reached out to MTK or WTF? They aren't on vetted list but their kits are great. As far as I know they are both cheaper then $850. Just keep in mind that even if you get the cheapest kit you will still probably be around $1300 or probably higher just to have a finished suit
  17. Mathias is so right. You would make a great Vader. And you have a great price range. If you wanna do a stormtrooper I would go with troopermaster
  18. Hey Joe. Unless your coverstrips are ridiculous looking by making them like two inches wide, you shouldn't have any problems with approvals. First and foremost you have to make the suit fit you. You can make it as screen accurate as you could possibly do but if it doesn't fit you comfortably then it is all for not. Unless someone is standing next to you examining your armor most people probably wouldn't even notice the difference in a 20mm coverstrip compared to a 25mm coverstrip.
  19. If you are looking to get most of these items in one place then yes Trooperbay is extremely reliable and are quality items. I have a belt and holster from him and they are great.
  20. Congrats Stein! Welcome to EIB!
  21. Got my tickets on Fandango for the Thursday 7PM IMAX showing in Stony Brook NY! Took me about 45 minutes for it to finally go through!
  22. Thanks Steve for all of your hard work and dedication. I am honored to have had you make my armor approvals. Good luck with your future endeavors.
  23. Congrats guys! Good luck to you both
  24. I'm confused Jefferson. Were you making a joke or are you serious?
  25. Hi Mark and welcome. You could fit into AM but you would be trimming a lot as AM is geared towards larger troopers. You are the ideal height and weight so you could fit into any screen derived armor. Since you are in Germany check out RS Props or Troopermaster. Otherwise other nice affordable options for you may be AP, MTK, NE, ATA.
