  1. Hey guys, schedule's been really crap. Finally have some time I'll upload new pics and my new strapping system too.
  2. Hi guys, sorry I haven't responded, computer crashed needed to format, plus my strapping system wore out after my last troop so I'm replacing it right now, I'll post all the new and required pictures soon. Also I'm not thinking of centurion, I don't think my maker's armour is on the list of approved centurion armours, unless my info is out dated. Thanks everyone for your advice so far!!
  3. They actually are shims... and they are what makes the gap less and a 1/2 inch...
  4. Those are industrial strength velcro for my Garrison and Legion/Event Patches... I hope those won't be a problem, it's a real big hassle to remove them... If it's not allowed I'll retake the shots... My belt is meant to be off white... perhaps it's lighting or the contrast/brightness adjustment... Here's another shot without any adjustment, hope it's ok... As for the ab plate, I'd love to have them sit flush, that was how i built it but my big tummy makes it pull apart a little >.< I believe the CRL states: Any gap between the abdomen and kidney armor is no more than 1/2" (12.5mm) wide. So that will have to do...

  6. Yeah that looks like it, I remember it was on sale somewhere... I wonder what happened to it...
  7. I wonder if we should contact the owners of that video and inform them... It's very misleading... lol
  8. The one I was talking about is a resin kit that made the tube cheek box like parts and ear bits not the one with the mic tips...
  9. Thanks for the info guys really cool. However I remember seeing someone post a sale and pics of the raw resin kit which I can no longer find :/ If anyone has any info on that would be really awesome!
  10. I advise you to give it a miss, I have personally helped a trooper or two with their Shepperton (SDS) armor from originalstormtrooper.com. For starters they cement the shoulder straps to the back plate and hence it floats free in the front, which is completely wrong and not approvable. Plastic quality is also not very impressive. I've seen more than one helmet warped almost exactly like the image attached. Not to mention the plastic belt, the plastic thermal det clip both of which are also not approvable. Personally I don't like the look of the pulls either, I feel the shape is off from what we want for ANH Stunt.
  11. Hi troopers! I was recently discussing helmet interiors with a fellow garrison mate and we came upon of the subject of 'in-universe accurate' TK bucket interiors like this one: I remember there used to be a resin kit with parts that was made to look like this. I can't seem to find it on the net anymore. Anyone have any idea?
  12. Here's a good post with a lot of good info http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/
  13. The 501st CRL is also a good source. It will go through the each costume parts. http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:CRL
  14. HI, requesting 501st Access please. Thank you. http://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=15293
  15. OMG I want one! *Drool I recently built my TK, if you want my opinion, I think snaps are better too. Easier to adjust for the future. Less of a pain to make too.
