  1. Nah good trimming and glue...no sealant on the film helmets John. Edit - it should be glue although not exactly sure what type...
  2. Wow Pete wow! That helmet looks perfect. Amazing work! Joe
  3. "eyegasm" Winning! JoeR
  4. Looks like the FX kit which was derived from a fan sculpt by a guy called GF in Canada.
  5. Looking good. I love seeing major mods like this. Thanks for sharing pictures. Joe
  6. You certainly are Professor Pete the Stormtrooper Doctor! Love it, awesome work. You are a true artisan Pete.

  8. If proof is posted Paul, what is the forums stance? Do you care or not care etc?
  9. Would be more chance with a group RPF build....
  10. Yeah who is Davin? Someone with no balls who won't reveal himself?
  11. Unless you can view every single pull in the films, you can't make a definitive statement...and they weren't done by a machine and so were not all the same. There is so much variation between screencaps. It does look small in the screencaps maybe 10mm or less. Edit: Luke and Han seem to have pretty much no return....cheers John!
  12. Awesome pictures. Good man for going. Joe
  13. Chin straps are secured using a rivet Karin, the same rivet that holds the face and cap together. Awesome work Keith.
  14. What he said! Vern have you been smoking the wacky backy again!
  15. Vern Can you write in paragraphs? It would make it much easier to read. Are you now on the AA payroll as well as AP! Joe

    acronyms?

According to Google: TK stands for Teras Kasi. The number is the serial number for the Stromtrooper. By giving them a number designation it basically removed the "humanness" of the Stromtrooper and made it easier for them to rationalize the evil that they did. Sounds very nerdy EU to me though!
  17. Most people in my opinion leave far too much material on the eyes and or the molds are wrong and the eyes are too small to start with. The film helmets seem to be cut back much more even though they have flashing left on. This makes a lot of replicas look odd. Only the TM seems to big enough eyes, the TE line, GINO etc all look far too small to me...

"all casts so far have been taken from the inside of the helmet and suit" That read to me as the inside. Have a look at the thread on the RPF.
  22. Just read this on the RPF. Really really exciting, and great to hear that they are doing it from the inside. What a year for troopers! Oh boy. Joe
