Anyone who complains yet should be set back at the utter end of the shipping list. (Anovos has delayed some items that far that i completey understand people complaining - but the OT armor definately didn´t match that criteria, not for some months to come.)

To be honest - i´m not sure about that. Stormies and Sandies have different designations - and they are (in my eyes and opinion) closer than the old and the new toopers.

Well, i have ordered the Anovos TFA helmet, and shall receive it soon - but nonetheless ...... while the new troopers are not looking bad, they still look a little bit like chubby ducklings to me.

Grow some guts and say "no, thanks, no but no" when they ask for casting 501st members. Don´t run to them like little puppies as soon as they need some plastic spacemen. If you don´t agree with their way to handle things, refrain from participating in running around in armor.

I expected the theoretical release for December/January, and the delivery 1-2 months later.<br><br> So they are still perfect on target.<br><br> Believing to have them, maybe even build, for ep 7 release was ridicuolous from the start.

There is no armor out there i would spend the requested price. I don´t like the combination of making profit without license. RS could be the only one due to it´s lineage - but i can´t stand the look, and my wife wouldn´t allow me to display something that crude other than in a corner of the basement. Atm i´m just hoping the sanitizing on the Anovos suits makes them less shabby looking.

Most complaints are coming from those people who would loose money if this armor is any good, due to lower sales of their own. And their obeying fanbase who would prefer to keep the status quo. Not really what i would call a unbiased group.

That´s easy - the most accurate version the pommel is made from seperate parts, and the cube-ring can be put on each way onto the inner coretube.

Just mail Disney and ask "the guy from Troopermaster said the displayed Armor is a AP suit. Is that true, or is it definately an Anovos." Easy to do and better than any guesswork.

No, sorry. Never was really interested in them. Seeing people shout from the top of a ivory tower really looks strange from the outside. I think they are blinded in their own small world over the time they´re in the hobby. They may be educated in the details and think those differencies are easily visible - but i could take 10 of my friends (all SW-Geeks, but not costume or prop addicted), none of them could/would notice the differencies here discussed, nor even would care if they do. Regarding looking uniform as out of the movies - nothing of those differencies in details is as disturbing at seeing them as real troopers as the size and form differencies are. A shimmed fat trooper, or a very long with a lot of black, are standing out much more than any of the here discussed details. Even with a FX or Rubies out of the box.

Where does Anovos dictate anything? Maybe a few thousand buyers have a interest in such a change, but i´ve seen nothing that way coming from Anovos. But, off course a CRL that rides around on 2 or 4 rivets for the holster, or even more the placement of the alustrips on the TD, but has such a wide range in the TD diameter is funny at it´s own.

Ignore the loud and negative comments, many of them are money related or to protect their preferred pet/armor maker. Just keep cool until the kits are delivered, in hand tested, and we really know what we get.

It´s a shame some people try to argue without knowing anything. How hard can it be to search for "Thermal Detonator", and click the link to the SW wiki.....

Iirr the Clones had something similar on their rear, which was used at one time as a detonator in a crashed Venator (Tano or R2 used it to fight some Bountyhunters).

Funnily i´m pretty calm about the armor - i´m just waiting for the things to come. I like what i see, finally a armor that does not look like molten goo. Additional some questions are left that only can be answered when we have it our very hands. But i can´t hold my laugh when i read the elitist bitching some people are posting here.

Get some metal and make your own - it´s pretty easy to do.

@ rapsody: There is a simple solution - A Novos needs to get some C&Ds on the line, until next to nothing than their stuff is available. Then such complaints like yours are not important anymore.
