  1. Has it ever been discussed that they could have been some sort of joint cover gasket or gaiter from an engine or machinery? They look a bit like giant steering rack gaiters.
  2. Sikaflex is more for adhesive applications so I don't think it would work too well for tooling. Great stuff but don't ever get it on your hands!
  3. Exactly how it should work. Passing on knowledge to new members. Good work trooper.
  4. That's a matter of opinion. Some say he is great and some say his service leaves a lot to be desired. As Saberforge is not on our list of people to stay away from there is no problem with posting a link. It's best for people to do their own research before making a purchase.
  5. That's the real troopers helping troopers spirit right there. Kudos Darren
  6. +1 for the Doopy's. Lot's and lot's of info on here about how to build them too.
  7. No problem. There is so much info here it's tricky to find it all when you need it.
  8. This is a good read for learning what tools you will need http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=18735 The armour experts will help you with the advice on whta kit to get.
  9. Hi Neil, Congratulations on a beautiful set of armour. Just a couple of little tweaks that have been pointed out already and it will be even better. Looking sharp trooper

  11. Well I can't spell a single word of Swedish.
  12. The words American and Brits should start with capital letters
  13. I wish someone could make a vac formed, hollow blaster that weighed next to nothing to just use as a holster filler.
  14. My ten watt never goes near full volume. For me it's well loud enough.
  15. Definitely not. The idea is that we all look the same.
  16. Oh crap. Sorry. I thought it was AP. I'll just go and take my meds now
  17. And I agree. What I am saying is that they are maybe more difficult than other makes of armour.
  18. The AP knee plate is notroriously difficult to fit. It can be done well as this thread proves, just not easily. Maybe as yours is a recast it is a slightly different shape or size.
  19. I found that with the VOX it only works well if the mic is right up close to your lips. Touching them in fact. If it is too far away the static burst cuts in mid sentance. My breathing kept setting of the static burst so thats why I changed the mic and it solved the problem.
  20. I just finished setting up my sound system tonight. I have the Aker 1506 and icomm fitted in the chest. The Aker is well loud enough, You only need it at about half volume. I tried many different set ups and found this to be the best. No feed back at all. I changed the mic for a slightly better quality one with an on and off button fitted so you can suit up and then turn on the system at the final end of suiting up.
  21. Hmmmm. That is a tasty burger.
