  1. Well done trooper. Very well deserved. Welcome to the ranks
  2. No mate. I'm not on facebook. We used to do it on the calculators at school
  3. I think you only have to provide an action shot for EI requests.
  4. You don't want it too neat. Screen used blasters were far from perfect
  5. Do Doopy's not sell the kits to the States? I thought it was just the fully built ones that they won't ship.
  6. I believe the true SA way is to have them cut at 45 degree angles but lots of people also round them off slightly so they are kind of a rounded 45 degrees if that makes sense.
  7. Looks fantastic Matt. Well done on the magazine. Really neat work
  8. There will always be a colour issue when mixing different makes of armour. Some will match better than others but will never be a perfect match. I would have thought that the bells being a different material would not help either. Even by getting new AP bells there is no guarantee that the colour will be the same as each batch of plastic is a slightly different colour. Mt suggestion is to contact AP and see if sending him a small piece of your armour for him to try and match would work. Rob.
  9. Matt, any more progress on the blaster? Looking forward to seeing it finished
  10. Thank you Tom for all the valuable input an time you give to FISD
  11. If his memory serves him correctly. It was over thirty years ago
  12. I just got a reply. His responce was that yes, the stormtroopers wore balaclavas. This however was in Empire not ANH as he wasn't in ANH.
  13. I'm not saying that. That is for Mathias to decide . I got my Centurion badge with a different knee plate but wanted to replace it to make it a bit better. Your's came out great. Well done.
  14. That looks great Keith. I know what you mean about one change effecting the two other points. Total nightmare! Your's doesn't look as wonky as mine.
  15. Looking forward to seeing pics without the clamps. I just removed mine. Could look better, could look worse but hey no rivets at least.
  16. Now that would make perfect sense. It was the 70's so there would have been a lot of long hair.
  17. I haven't been able to find any pics of troopers with buckets off wearing balaclava's. I would be very interested to see some. There is someone I could email and ask. I'll post here when I get a response.
  18. Sorry Karin. I didn't mean to derail your thread. Very much looking forward to the next updates of your neck seals
