  2. Thanks to everybody for the kind words, it's a great pleasure to hear them and to share with you my satisfaction for all the work I've put in this blaster! You make it worth it :) And Smitty, please don't say so I made this only for myself, while you're doing a great job in building multiple great blasters for other troopers!

After four months of work I proudly present to you my scratchbuilt E-11 Stormtrooper Blaster equipped with "Blaster Core", a lights and soundfx electronic module for blasters made by Irvin Plecter at Plecter Labs (www.plecterlabs.com) I followed the PVC Blaster Builders Club tutorial and blueprints and followed step by step the great tutorial by Dark Side Sith Lord that you can find here: http://www.darksidesithlord.com/my-costume...reation-01.html Some early WIP pictures:

Uh, the list is VERY long... - stupid people - dogs barking - babies screaming - people who talk and laugh in a cinema during the movie - overcooked pasta - people who don't listen to me, especially my parents - skeptical people when you prove something clearly - water temperature raising and falling when you shower - all flying insects except butterflies - lack of commitment - all other drivers, especially the slow ones, those who cut turns invading my lane anf those using cellphones - quote: old people who stop in the middle of a shop when you're walking right behind them - quote: people who ask the same question about 15 times but in a variety of ways - bad quality in general (craftsmanship, service, assembly, music) - people talking too loud in a restaurant - waiters who don't pay attention to you - when someone gets something you want JUST A SECOND before you, examples: nice table in a restaurant, last piece of cake, last pair of shoes of your number, free parking in front of your destination, etc. - reality shows and talk shows - celebrities and related Mtv shows - people walking like zombies in a mall, looking around for something to buy that they don't need - a ton of other things which don't come to mind now In a word, people Except the ones who are part of my life, which include you guys

I obtained a nice result with a combination very close to yours! - grey metal primer (2 coats) - acrylic matte black (2 coats) - light weathering with silver sprayed on an old cloth - acrylic transparent matte (2 coats) - some more weathering to bring back out the highlights - superfine steel wool to wear out some zones Here's a detail:

  13. ...did this for me today :):) It was a great surprise! And keep in mind that the first time we watched the OT (almost a year ago) she fell asleep just before Vader killed the Emperor! I was so pissed off while backing up the tape to show her what she missed!!! And today she came up with this awesome Imperial Cake... what to say... she's GREAT!!! :):)
