  1. Thanks to everyone for the warm feedback! Paul (troopermaster) has just noticed that the V cut on the holster is wrong, so I need to redo all the photoshooting I've just modified it... and i'll try to paint the CaBoots with white Plasti Dip, the tough rubber spray I used to paint the latex handguards.
  2. Thank you Paul, That would be an honor. I hoped for that (Although I need to change or repaint those CaBoots to match the armor's white.)
  3. Finally my blaster has reached its purpose!
  4. Many thanks to Troopermaster for the incredible armor, precious advices and assistance, Stukatrooper for the fantastic tutorial, TK-4510 for the decals, Stomper for Hovies and t-tracks, TK_MD for the Hengstler counter, Erv' for the Blaster Core, Stormtrooper for the rubber gloves and latex handguards, firebladejedi for the canvas belt, Smitty for the lenses, Launchpad for the speakers, riveting for the neckseal and the holster tutorial, and everyone on this great forum who contributed to make my dream come true. Thank you troopers! :D :D Pablo
  5. I can't express with words how happy I am, so I'll let the pictures talk for me. I still can't believe it's me.
  6. The black middle tooth can be seen also in the first two screengrabs I posted, it's not the lighting
  7. The trooper who falls on his crotch has regular armor: And like Paul pointed out the stunt is always the same, also in the bridge scene: The same cut cod and the same helmet, which has the central tooth painted black, probably to identify the stuntman? He's the one who falls down, and you can see the same soft thighs: Again Paul knows best
  8. Watching ANH again today I took these screenshots of a pair of stunt thighs, made probably for scenes in which particular movements were required. The first time we see them are in the "defend the spot" scene in the detention center, weared by the trooper who has to overcome the body of the first dead trooper lying on the breached door. I suppose it's latex because of the color showing through the cracks in the paint, and because it was used for the handguards too. Or maybe it was leather. We can also clearly see how the cod piece has been cut on the sides to facilitate movements. The second time we see those stunt thighs is in the last blaster-battle before the escape, when the door is closing before Vader. You can clearly see how they bend and wrinkle. Since the paint is not chipped off, this scene may have been shot before the first one, or there were two sets of those. This doesn't seem a difficult-movements scene, anyway we see these worn the trooper closer to the camera (who later will fall down hit by Luke). Fascinating.
  9. Thank you, my Master!
  10. Thank you guys! It woudn't have been possible without the valuable help of all of you! I'm very happy on how the helmet turned out, it's not easy to achieve the right balance between brow height, eye trimming and ears size! And it's my first build
  11. MOAR PICSHURS! Arms, with rubber gloves and latex handguards: Ab plate + belt: Tighs, dangerous curves ahead: Shins and boots: Helmet galore: This is some sexy white plastic.
  12. Very soon! I opened this topic today with few pictures just because you beat me to it!!!
  13. Hi fellow troopers! Since I've almost finished the build of my new TM in ABS, I finally opened this topic to show it to you! After months of research and over an year of waiting, my stormtrooper dreams finally came true. Let's start with the typical box shots The helmet, in all its sharp gorgeousness: The box content unwrapped. This is a great self-gift. Look at that big smile! My badly dislocated shoulder now safely protected by the shoulder bell: And now let's get it on with the build! The acrylic capped ABS is incredibly shiny and smooth, the pulls are sharp, the plastic is tough and flexible... This is gonna be sweet... [four months later] After four months of shoulder aching it's almost done, pics of the full armor coming very soon! Yesterday I tried it on for the first time. It's one of the most beautiful things I've seen in my whole life. Just a helmet pic teaser: See you very soon
  14. I tried my full TM armor for the first time today too! AWESOME. I felt a Stormtrooper for the first time. I'll open a dedicated thread soon.
  15. You're welcome! Maybe someone with a real Sterling can post a pic of the original parts and how they're assembled?
  16. Thank you very much for your kind words, you've done a great job with your kit Since the bundled speaker is VERY powerful, one is enough, with two is almost too loud, I had to turn down the volume knob a bit
  17. Hi travis! I took mine apart so you can see I used a small tough spring and kept it in place with the same screw that holds the base to the body. Shaped the clip accordingly and used a small metal rod to hold it to the base.
  18. AAAaaaahhh, two sweet TM suits.......
  19. Yes, I posted that one some time ago along with the trooper in the white Elise, but due to its awesomeness it definitely deserves another round! :D
  20. I'd go for a TM, awesome bucket now in capped ABS, just wonderful, I'll post pics of mine as soon as I receive Smitty's lenses.
  21. Very good job!!! That's one of the finest ESB helmets out there!
  22. Sweet bucket! Billy, I was about to say the same thing! I would also thicken the "antenna" line on the ears.
  23. Buy a three AA battery holder and three pairs of these batteries-------- along with the recharger---------- Those are rechargeable lithium 3.7v batteries, you'll have almost 12v and they'll last a lot longer than a 9v battery
