looks great. i dont usually make suggestions/comments about what might need done... but i'm going to give this a try anyways. i couldnt tell if you had the two cylinders on top of the clip on the side of the blaster. maybe a different angle of pic might show them... and the drop boxes might could use a little lowering. i dont think the box detail is terribly important, just a detail that'd bother me if it were my suit. but that's all i see. really though aside from that great job

now that we solved the how to possibly fix the slight gap issue, the only real thing i see that needs some attention is you seem to not have the green lenses. clear just doesnt work well. haha. kidding looks great. looks like you're not too far from having it complete. good job man

congrats on the new helmets. the brow does look just a little high, but that's here nor there... aside from that one small detail. i gatta say, they almost look good enough for me to dirty up my armor for to wear haha... almost though. i clean it on regular basis after trooping. but really though, great helmets

building your own is fun, but it can be tough. lol. there's a few build threads out there. if you have issues finding them, let me know. i'll send you some links. but... FYI... if you want a total screen accurate one and want to try building one with the ole engine cylinder halves for the black section of it... they no longer make those. and you'll have to search for an antique model set. odds of being able to build one like that are slim, and you'd have to ruin an antique but i'm not saying it's impossible.

well i've spoken to the midsouth garrison and so it seems none of them want to suit up for a wedding. however... if anyone here wants to be there suited up, i'm still allowed two troopers. but GREAT news... found a place and most details are semi-falling together. still gatta go get fitted for a suit.... you'll like this. i might not be wearing white armor, but i'll be in a white tux with a pink tie and vest

that's true, i got my hook a fair while back, and it was a little pricey. but try theRPF.... i havent seen any recent threads on there. but you could try asking around. you never know. the boxes are easy to get ahold of. VacTrooper is the guy to ask about the boxes on these threads. Russrep is the guy to ask about the grappling hook itself. he's much easier to find on www.theRPF.com but i think he does periodically visit these boards... and if you're in need of a commlink.... i hear there's a guy on here that has recently started an interest thread on them. haha. not 100% screen accurate, but their close. best wishes to ya

or you could use white elastic, it'll still show, but blend in with the armor better. that's actually what i'm going to do to my armor soon enough. once i get some spare time. lol

i agree. though i dont have EIB yet. i dont think it'll matter if you have suspenders or "one piece suit". there's many ways to keep the chest plate from flopping around. sometimes you just wont know what style you want until you try one and see if it works for you or not. i've changed up a few things on my suit on many occasions. as many others have im certain. screen accuracy is always great, but if you're trying to figure out a method... really there's just two, screen accuracy or figuring out what fits you best... just my two cents. ionno if it helps any but best wishes on figuring out what you want.

on my suit specifically, i know i have to kind of tuck the boot in a little when putting my shins on. not a big issue on mine though, but similar in concept and i wear size 10 TKboots. if you have too much of an issue finding sheets of ABS PM me your address and i'll ship you a sheet. i think the dimensions are about 10X6. i'm not too sure, but i'll measure them when i get home this afternoon and let you know. if they'll work to help you out i'd gladly ship you a sheet.

sorry, i thought wrong about how you meant it. no hard feelings. i understand mocking a source of info, but somehow i thought you were mocking me in general. and for that, i'm sorry i read you wrong. but i must admit, you gave some great debating points. but i'll deff hold true to my word about the pics. lol . it really is a nice grappling hook, and i think another touch up coat of paint on my comlink and it'll be golden. my only current issue... that stupid clip that is used to hold it to the belt. i've found something that might work (i'll figure out tonight either way) but it's not really what i was hoping for....

i have AM, the newer version of FX, i had to trim a lot off. it can be nerve racking, but for your first cuts, cut less than you think you need to cut and remeasure to make sure. what i did was cut an even amount off of each side... or at least close to even amounts... you'll possibly have to heat and bend some of it as darktrooper said. just be sure not to go overboard and trim off too much. you can always cut more off, cant quite as easily put more back on. i think its pandatrooper that has a tutorial somewhere about how to heat and bend armor for different reasons. in case that might help.

isnt there a slight curve close to one end of the kidney plate...? i thought that the side with the curve was the bottom....

yeah i know i can wear them whenever and all, i'm just currently working on getting my suit ready for EIB, it's close. i'm not sure what's taken me so long to do it actually. it's fine if the 421 style can't be made stunt officially for EI, i just thought it was a question that should be asked... but after the EIB pics, i'll swap my belt out and post pics of my commlink/grappling hook... they deserve to be shown off. yeah those side topics are interesting and some are comical. yes it helps a lot. thanks

im not sure, but i think that you're trying to make a mockery of my intent, billy. all im trying to say is the actual trooper wearing the suit before luke took it was a stunt not a hero. i understand where you're coming from, but to compare and important TK roll to little obvious mishaps such as mr nostripes is comparing han and chewy as people. their not even the same species. sure 421 was suited up with the obvious intent of needing specific items for later to be named events where luke was the one doing such things, and luke had the hero helmet... but the trooper he took the suit from clearly was stunt, not hero... i understand the opposing side of this discussion, but i think it's like comparing cats and dogs. just my thoughts, and im sure you'll make a mockery of me again... im not trying to fight and argue to get my way... just trying to make what i think is a valid point. if i have to, i'll bust out a TD and go EIB as stunt with no com or anything. and just have a second belt to wear when i want to have a grappling hook.... it's not a huge deal. so whomever has the power to either allow or deny my request... please say your thoughts.

lol. great armor. another question plausible of asking is, was the original TK the true suit, and maybe Luke took that suit and a helmet from another trooper for whatever reason.... like it fit him better or something. lol
