  2. Derek, Shoot me a PM here or on the home board if you would like a hand. I'm probably 5 - 10 miles south of you. Kris
  3. happy birthday!

  4. Depending on the humidity and temp. where you are you can typically re-coat in 6 hours, I have done it in as little as 2-3 hours when the weather has been warm. You should be able to touch and handle it at the 6 hour mark. However the paint probably wont be fully cured for 24 - 48 hours so it may scuff if handled too roughly before then. Kris
  5. Nice!!! Speaking of old photos... Opening of ESB 1980... Lode Theatre Houghton Michigan... I'm the tall 18 year old in the carpet...

  10. You could try mixing a bit of white latex paint or white pigment for latex paint with some of you molding latex. paint or slush it into the mold then pour the rest of the casting latex into fill the back. that way the color will be permanently bonded hand back and you shouldn't need to paint it at all. A friend of mine who does latex masks does something similar for the base color on his masks. Also you could mix pigment and or latex paint with some of the casting latex and paint it on a finished casting. Kris
  11. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Melanie's family. Kris
  12. Having lost 37 lbs and 4 inches since Febuary here's how I did it. (I also shaved 70 points off my blood sugar) 1. Diet: eat you hand size in protein, you fist in carbs and all the veggies you want. 2. No more snacking on carbs, protein or veggies only. 3. Cut the beers way back and no soda, diet soda can be just as bad, unsweetened tea, coffee, lots of water, juices. 4. Gym or exercise on you own: 20 min cardio (fast walk at first) and strength training 30 minutes 3 - 4 time a week for the at least the first 6 weeks or so, you can ten maintain at 2-3 times a week but keep the cardio up. ALso for support check out 300DC a bunch of folks who do the 300 Spartans, great moral support and a lot of good diet and exercise advice even if you don't want to get into a Spartan costume. Good luck, Kris (I can now do my elite TK without side shims )
