  2. got this as well forum.whitearmor.net Driver Error There appears to be an error with the database. If you are seeing this page, it means there was a problem communicating with our database. Sometimes this error is temporary and will go away when you refresh the page. Sometimes the error will need to be fixed by an administrator before the site will become accessible again.
  3. i got this message quite a few times today Fatal error: Call to undefined method IPSLib::loadLibrary() in /home/fisd/public_html/forum/admin/applications/forums/app_class_forums.php on line 83 just thought i should report it
  4. you are right lol, the vid is mislabeled, but it was the best vid of an real E-11 i had bookmarked
  5. i would cut it to extend out about 2" - 3". here is a video of an original ESB blaster http://www.metacafe.com/watch/3487999/prop_store_of_london_empire_strikes_back_e_11_blaster/ but like you stated there was several different lengths of magazines (some just had a wooden block shoved into the receiver), so i dont believe there is any one "correct" length, i would just study the screencaps and make a judgment call personally i like them a bit on the longer side.
  6. ya, sorta like facebook
  7. i posted this a while back http://forum.whitear...showtopic=10842 perhaps setting up an separate off site chat website would be a good solution something like "www.trooperchat.com" im sure it would be a little work but it would be great asset, oh and i own that domain lol
  8. great stuff! is there any chance of getting more pics?
  9. looking through his post http://whitear...=1entry153495 he is supposedly a new user, but has the ability to quickly identify armor types... it took me months of research to get to that level and i am still a bit green myself im just curious, but is there any limitations on selling on the boards? for instance if i remember right, ebay requires a feedback of 10 before you can even sell anything. can any new member sell here without making any posts? with the economy in its current state and unemployment on the rise, i can foresee the internet scamming profession becoming more and more common just a thought....
  10. fantastic job i like how you got rid of the yellowing from the CFL lamps i use in my house
  11. agreed, as funny looking as it is, it looks like a fair amount of effort went into making it. i like the calfs/shin details and the chest plate looks neat as well
  12. it has 2 bids.... it must be those sexy shoes
  13. no fumes from the paint after it fully cured, but the plumbers goop i used to hold in the foam padding smelled fumy for a few weeks i like the look of the plasti dip as well
  14. if i remember correctly i used several coats ( i put it on heavy around the mic tip area), and i also coated the insides of my ears
  15. i used rustolium truck bed liner in my bucket, it worked quite nicely and added some strength to the thinner areas but any flat black paint will work, i wouldn't recommend using any glossy paint, also dont get ANY of this on the outside of the bucket, it is permanent
  16. i just noticed this thought it was kind of interesting. at least its not a recast lol http://cgi.ebay.com/Star-Wars-STORMTROOPER-ARMOUR-Lifesize-full-COSTUME-/250695194320?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a5e9916d0
  17. almost any surface can be polished with time and effort, even a turd its just an thought but is there a place around you that paints autos? i dont think it would cost very much to paint a set of armor just an idea
  18. at my first unofficial troop (a relatives birthday at a swimming pool) i got asked if it was hot wearing my suit, i replied " yes i am dying in here, they have pretty good AC on the death star" it got quite a laugh from the crowd
  19. 1st: Congrats! Awesome armor you have there! > THANKS! 2nd: Correct me if I'm wrong, but you don't have a TKID yet, right? I need a TKID for your EIB profile pic. (Unless Terrell agree to put your EIB pic without TKID.) >i am approved 501st but still waiting for my TKID 3rd: Fifth picture from top is OK for the profile pic? The helmet is fully visible and will fit in the frame. > OK, anything is fine 4th: Say hi to Brian Fong if you see him! will do (but he is quite far from my location) Cheers. BTW: I liked the pics with your son on it! ty lol
  20. thanks guys it was a bit of work but it was a fun build, i im thinking of doing a ROTJ build next, now that i have some armor building experience
  21. nice work! and good luck with acceptance..
  22. i did all i could to keep my son out of the shots... but he got into a few. i did all these shots solo by a timer, least to say it was no easy task.. try working a camera with rubber gloves lol, i had to hit buttons with a pencil close up of weathering (the whole suit is weathered in this fashion) scuffed up and blackwashed helmet ( all hand painted, no stickers or decals)
  23. i made up these pics LMK if there ok
  24. "weilding a Plasma Canon just seems so much more bad a$$ than anything a TK Commander would carry!" that was one of the reasons i chose the INC as well, great to have another incinerator in the ranks!
  25. the More Accurate build is finished, i made a storage container in the fuel canister for small items it also is ultra light weight.. im kinda sad to let this one go jk i will add some templates shortly
