So much agree with Daetrin, i have attended 3 past and we're all 200% better than this one when I came to the legion activities such as the banquet and bash. The Reed Pop and other controlling factors were very poor as well especially the Thursday fiasco of entrance and the store that was sold out Thursday but still had people in line for 4 hrs to find nothing.The banquet I had such high hopes for since the last ones had special guest who spoke, and the last one with the large Vader cake. Even had a lot mor swag, that was paid for, not donated. Even the ending was disappointing when no one knew. "is it over" had many text roaming the floor asking. The bash, I won't speak about since I would not give $100 for an event in which nothing was provided. Drink tickets? Finger food? I did stand outside like a lot of others and was great to see others. Now one of the highlights was the swag trade. That was nice, and great to mingle, and I'm not a big trader! It was great seeing so many other legion members though, and can't wait for the next one.

I have used plastic welder epoxy to attach them before. Works great, just does not come off ever after.

Sorry, I have been out of town since posting, and just returned. Good answers. I know when I did mine, I was told that it had to be one piece, so I thought it was in the CRL. The picture in the CRL shows one piece, but it isn't specified. That is why we were asking. The actual movie costumes were never cut. Correct? So that was why the question, of why it was or was not in the CRL

You know, I don't mean to open up a can of worms, but the discussion came up over at the MEPD and I had to ask. When I completed my TK and TD back about 5 years ago, I was told specific that the ab plate and cod, had to remain one piece to be approved. The discussion has came up, and its sounding as though 2 piece and 1 are acceptable. The question remains, what is correct and what is not. I know that the original costumes were one piece front and 2 piece back and butt, but I am really just wondering. The CRL shows as one piece piece in the picture, but doesn't state that specific. Comments???

I am not as worried about price, as much as delivery! Been over 14 months on the Vader helments and still no delivery, or communication. I actually contacted LFL, 8 months ago, and got contacted from a higher up at EFX, promising delivery by August this year. We will see..

WOW! Something to look forward to in 2013! I have always wanted to see this exhibit, but was unable too, when it was closer to home. Now it will be only 5 hrs. away and is doable!!! Shoot, I am here this week now for FDIC, so I at least know where I am!! LOL

I have 2 Rom FX units and a Trooper Com Interface, which I wish I could find again! What I like about both? THEY ARE SELF CONTAINED, meaning I have them in my helmets with no wires, other than speakers in my hovies, and just turn a switch and ready to go. I have been changing alot of friends over lately who have speakers hanging off of them, and taking time to run wires and such. Just my 2 cents. They all work very well, I just like to use the KISS method. LOL

Hey for the S trim, I tried back a few years ago to find it here, but since it was made in the 70's the same thing is not made now except from older restoration sites, They still make the old S trim, but it just wasnt available at todays automotive stores I checked, and Advance and Autozone were ones I checked. I have a site that sales the original 70's S trim, but have to find it on my other computer. PM me if interested I will try to find it. You just buy it by the foot.
