  1. I'm not hating. Just encouraging your to spend some time searching for yourself before asking. That's how we learn and grow as people. But you did get to the right place to learn about Stormtroopers.
  2. 10 second search at amazon. And I don't even have amazon in Sweden. But you're welcome!
  3. http://www.amazon.com/Tandy-Leather-Gunmetal-Plated-1263-13/dp/B003ABMZ7C/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1362702190&sr=8-3&keywords=tandys+24+snaps
  4. Cap rivets. Make it permanent. You should never need to separate the two. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
  5. And some were just glued on to the elastic. 1 rivet should be the most common but there were differences. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
  6. The thumb print is the left.
  7. I like it how these threads pop up like clockwork once every 6 months or so. I have the "stiff" 2 mm TM, but I sit down in it all the time. Not very comfortable, but it's doable. I'm in the middle with the red beret. -------------
  8. I see. Well you wouldn't be the first girl that joins here and so far all of them have been able to make due with kits. Have a look around for them. It's a lot cheaper and easier than building from scratch. But if you still choose to DIY then we have a dedicated section for that kind of work, right here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/65-the-foundry-armor-and-prop-making/
  9. Most of us aren't moulding anything. We buy kits and finish them. You're likely to get better answers at forums for scratch builds. For example the RPF has a lot of talented members. What are you trying to mould anyways?
  10. This should set you on the right path. http://www.whitearmo...nh-stunt-build/
  11. Make sure that the correct section is marked for search by pressing the "forums" button next to the search box. It looks like you're doing it right, but I often fail with that when I search and have to remind myself to change it. Here's my search on latex made a few minutes ago.
  12. It seems to work fine for me though.
  13. Here's some more info on that maker: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/22634-ctm-props/
  14. Yeah, it's a fact that people focus on the face of other people, so anything below that won't get noticed as much. But on the other hand there might very well have been plenty of folks that did notice but don't dare mention to avoid sounding stupid.
  15. Those do not look deformed to me.
  16. There is no change that let's you pass without the rocket launcher. Mark's approval was a mistake on my part but it's too late to revoke it. Aside from that issue, there are numerous quality issues in terms of finished results, and poorly executed details that lead me to say that this isn't happening. On top of that is the matter where there is a severe lack of photos depicting the required details (helmet decals/paint for example) as well as the banishment of FX parts in centurion applications. Sorry to let you down, and I'm sorry to sound so hard, but there is just no easy way to say it.
  17. Only the hero helmet is different. The armour is the same between stund and hero.
  18. Pictures will help us tell. But if they are anything like screen accurate shoulder bells then they are likely not deformed at all. The original armour was really wonky and asymmetric to begin with.
  19. Yes, those are the Special Edition troopers, made with promo armour (based on the ROTJ moulds). They were added in 1997 and have been in every re-release since.
  20. You might be right. But raising the requirements helps the next 500 future members reach EI, by using that as the baseline. As for the garrison, NG became what it is by internally promoting accuracy and showing new members or old members with new costumes where to find good info and encourage them to go beyond basics. Do this for a few years and you have a large bank of excellent costumes that sets the garrison baseline and a huge amount on in-garrison knowledge.
  21. As long as it's carefully done and looks good then it's no issue.
  22. Glue the front and let the back float freely.
