  1. Saw that too, looks like I'll need to get all three.
  2. When I saw they had a helmet with a voice changer I was like "Hell Yeah" So I bought it. Its cool, the voice changer isnt worth cannibalizing the helmet. All in all its a cool toy. There's one of a different color offered at Target. I'm tempted to get it too.
  3. If you want to do some experimentation, 4 ohm speakers are generally louder but put more strain on the Amp.
  4. I second that.
  5. Mike's like king of the stormtroopers
  6. That is awesome news Scott, Here's to a speedy recovery
  7. Try the southbeach diet, works like a charm!
  8. Man, that's an eye opener. I'm glad you are ok. Look on the bright side tho, only 10 pounds to go Once again, glad to see you still with us.
  9. Those look awesome man! Nice work!
  10. Its in a thread called Wireless Wally in the "How To" section. I show exactly how to build one.
  11. You guys have completely lost your minds. What have you guys been drinking for the last six months, Ketsup? Put me down for elevenhundred and thirty eight of them. Also send along any unused packets of Ketsup. Im getting thirsty.
  12. I make a kit that consists of 2 easily aquired parts. A Bolun Wireless mic kit and a voice changer toy from Wal Mart. You mount the wireless mic kit in the helmet and it transmits to the voice changer toy behind the chest plate. I like it because the mic rig is all mounted inside the helmet and there is no wire connecting the helmet to the rest of the armor so for all intents and purposes is all "helmet contained". Another benefit is that the voice changer has a larger speaker and is much louder than trying to use the small speakers inside of the hovi's.
  13. What does CRL stand for? Mike's armor is always top shelf material, its no wonder he ended up on an action figure back.
  14. Mike, I just want to say, you officially suck. I was planning on doing this exact same thing but the guy that was supposed to pull my helmets seems to be jerking me around. As usual it looks simply Marvelous. Scott sent me some flat black tube stripes for my project so I have like 2 or 3 sets of flat black tube stripes. Would you like a set for this helmet?
  15. As I stated on MEPD after viewing this, I would kick her in the balls upon meeting her in the street.
  16. Got mine this morning, Now I just have to decide what I'll put them on. Thanks Scott!

    Gas prices

I recently sold my 25th Anniversary Mustang Over 300 rear wheel horsepower. It only got 15 miles per gallon. Now I drive an S-10 pickup with a 4 cylinder, mucho improvement on the wallet.
  18. That is terrible news my friend. If you need to vent or just need a little encouragement drop me a line and I'll lend an ear. I'll be standing by for good news.
  19. The before and after shot is in one of Mike's other threads.
  20. That has been one mighty fine undertaking!
  21. Once you get away from FX it all starts looking good. I think TM is damn fine looking armor but I dont dig the shins. I think they sink in a little much along the front seam, but thats just me. If cost wasnt an option, I'd go with TM armor with AP shins. Maybe one day the exchange rate to the US wont be so bad and I can afford some TM armor.
  22. Absolutely fantastic looking Mike! I have no suggestions for the armor but I mirror what every has said about the blaster. Great work man! Actually I do have a recommendation. It looks like you are using the green acetate film for the lens. shouldn't you have a set of Nathan's lens left over from the OMG rebuild?
  23. Runnnriottts lens are the best. Ive used 2 sets so far and have another set in hot standby.
