HPDblues set up a little birthday party for a fellow HPD Officer last week. In Asian culture, the first birthday is a milestone, and a huge party. (Survival rates used to be quite low way out here). The parents are huge fans, and made the party Star Wars themed.They had lego center ices on every table, toys on display, and everyone had Star Wars shirts! It was in a HPD hall, and was really nice. For the setup, they had us in a "V" formation outside the roll up door. As the officer, I got to lead the squad of troopers in. Guns dusted of his sand trooper, which was very cool. It was an honor leading them in! Our handler beat on the door, and the kids inside went nuts. THey didn't know what was coming. He then demanded they open the door in the name of the Imperial Forces! They were starting to figure it out then LOL. When the door came up, and we marched in, it was really something! I was so proud to lead in our squad, really a "chicken skin" moment!

I look at all of you like my big brothers My posts may not be the deepest or most insightful about Star Wars or armor building, but I have learned as much as I can, and always try to help with armor builds here too Thank you all for allowing me to stick around, I am so glad I did!

To me, if you can get TE2 for $200 less than something else, I'd get the TE2...it is really nice looking stuff!

They really are not hard to build. If you look close, there are sort of marking lines on the main tube where the pieces go. Just look at some E-11 photos or other builds (I have a basic one!) and you'll see how they come together.

Luckily they are small! Besides costumes, I have lots of outfits I basically have a spare bedroom to keep all my clothing and shoes in. One day I'll have a fancy walk-in closet!

We have a 5'4" trooper here. I wanted to do it, but 4'11" is just way to short My fav response to that question is: "Aren't you a little tall for an Ewok?"

Looks like you are on track. Just read up and have fun. To me ANH is the classic look, and stunt is a bit simpler normally.

The helmet on did not turn out like I wanted....the patch is a bit unrealistic on the size

I have to say a huge thank you to Magna Prime for the great femguard patch, and then supporting me with advice while I worked on my version! It is about the the Sovereign Protecters had a fem pinup, and the patch really hits it! I had been working on my TR for a bit, and have a Don Post helmet modified and ready to go. So if you were ever curious what the female guards wear under all that material, here you go! This was a quick test shoot, I'll do some studio shots in April!

It has been a bit since I updated here! The Imperial Guard DET came out with a great new fem-guard patch, and I already had some of the pieces to do it, so I decided to finish up! I have also been working on a TR of own, so it was easy to do. I made a little cape, since it is shorter than a regular TR, and made a little utility belt too. I should have some shots up soon! I spent tonight at a Birthday party for and HPD Officer's son. In Hawaii, the first B-day is a high event. The little guy may not recall the Star Wars party, but his dad sure loved it! Will post more shots later! Of course HPD Blues was there too!
