Femtrooper 2.0

Oh yes, I now have a real neck seal too! -
It has been almost a year since I last wore femtrooper...It was made by Ritchies armor, and as I learned more about armor, I realized that it was not the best quality armor. Last fall, the shoulder bells just "flopped", they were almost flat! The shins were brittle and cracking, and then the back plate went soft too. So now I have TE forearms, ATA shoulder bells and back, and RT-MOD shins. Rumor is that my thermal det was once owned by a well known and renown stormtrooper I got some help from the Outpost, restrapped/snapped, and painted the whole thing. These boots will not work for C6, but I am ready to pack!

Yes...another costume! LOL! My girlfriend here really talked me into the Juliet Starling look. After all, Jessica set the bar so high with her version that I just did not know if I should try. She looks amazing in hers! This is for a con this fall, and we have a huge zombie crawl at Halloween that it will be a lot of fun for! I have contacted the amazing woodchuck, and he will work on the saw after CVI for me! Today was an open cosplay shoot, there will be some better shots coming, but here is a preview!

In prep for a future look, I decided to go uber blond! We also wanted to play with a friend's new green screen setup, so here is return of the red trek dress! What do you guys and gals think of my new look? -
Duty Day at the Pacific Outpost

Would love to do that! I know there was talk of making that, but I don't think anyone has yet! Sadly, sculpting new armor is out of my skill level! -

Ok everyone, after many years of good use, my old femtrooper is looking tired! It was made by Ritchies, and his quality is spotty at best! I already replaced the forearms with TE pieces. My should bells went really flat and lost their shape, so I already bought new ATA pieces to replace them. I plan on swapping the femtie chest with the femtrooper, it is molded better and looks better I think. The back plate also went sort of soft and had some cracks, and my shins were always very thin and brittle. Now that I have seen good troopers, the whole thing needed reworked! The cod/butt/belt and biceps are OK LOL! ATA is fixing me up with a replacement backplate and shins, and I need to get paint on it all for CVI. I can do it! -

Our local mall has been trying to find some fun stuff to do where the old "Borders" used to be. I miss that store...but that is another story! They have been doing a superhero theme this summer, with a cool little ride for the kids and other neat stuff like a replica bat mobile. Today they had a kids costume superhero party! As you guys know, many of our 501st crew have a few different looks. They only wanted "good guys", so that limited who could make it. Our ironman is at Comic Con too, so he was out. I decided Ms Marvel might be too "cheeky" for the kids, so I went ahead and finished up my "American Dream" look for this one. It was a fun time, the kids loved it! There was a great clown comedian, along with free cake, and free photos. Local comic artists were on hand making some one of a kind treasures, and teaching how to draw. Here are the photos!
