  1. of course it would! i'm 6'1 and theres still a lot of room to play with. i cut a lot of plastic to make it fit me so i'm sure it should fit you. cammo or grunt ARF's are cool in person too! i'd love to make another clone but it was a lot of work. you know. i felt exactly the same way. i love the originals but i realized i wanted a second set of armor that was white that was also in demand. i never liked the clones from the movies too much but when they had the animated series, i just had to build one. visibility is easier than a TK i think but i can live in my TK. mobility in clone armor was a bit hard. or maybe i just wasn't used to it yet. SWEET! we can troop together there. i can't wait to use the clone armor at another con. takes a bit getting used to.
  2. hey there guys, so i put my AP build on hold for this since i wanted my clone to be done for san diego comic con. i know i didn't make a build thread but i was too consumed in building my KW armor in time for comic con. it was my first comic con and first time to wear this armor. i was afraid of stuff going wrong and nothing went wrong. here are some pictures. let me know you guys think. i was approved for 501st with this armor the first day i was wearing it too. it was just perfect timing. (i was already a 501st TK). Oh and i'm the dirty grunt. the cleaner one is TC-3619. With KW himself! it was really cool to see his armor in action. (let me know if you want this picture down kevin) finally myself with the bucket off.
  3. can't wait to troop with you ryan!

  10. I'm currently using this method on my fx and its not working out too well.
  11. I have my suit similar fireblade. But for the sides. it feels tight and I'm a really skinny guy with a 32 waist. Also for my chest and ab. When I put it on. Its crooked. I feel like I'm waisting snaps. I don't have that adjustable thingymajig either. But I don't know how to make that.
  12. Oh btw. Should I use webbing or elastic? My current fx is using webbing and suspenders but I've seen people just use straps without suspenders.
  13. Sorry mods, I realized I posted in the wrong section. Can you move this thread?
  14. Hey everyone, I'm currently building my AP armor. I'm 6 feet tall and I'm doing the strapping method. I've been browsing threads and searching and I haven't found what works for me. Can I see how a lot of you guys have done this? Measured it? How do you get it to line up right? I've seen some guys do the shoulders and arms seperately. If you've done that, how do you measure the distance? I've tried for a month by myself but everything keeps comming out crooked or funky looking. Any help would be gladly appreciated.
  15. don't forget fans for your helmet and make sure to have fun!
  16. I got mine last week and these are super nice! I can't wait to use them. Thanks paul!
  17. With my AP kit. I used a blowdryer to heat them up and then I bend them. I didn't want to use a heatgun because I was afraid I'd make them too wonky.
  18. i like them. lookin good!
  19. I wonder if the ladies like that helmet.
