  1. Hey there, TK-9524 from the Golden Gate Garrison requesting 501st access. Thanks! http://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=12382
  2. Looks a bit too long and skinny for a TD.... There's a joke there somewhere...
  3. Thanks for all the pointers guys! I will definitely try to close that gap. When I saw it, I didn't realize it was opening that big. I actually think it's just the armor flaring out and if I add a few more snaps, I can get it to close no problem. I will definitely work on holding the blaster in my left hand too . I will try to raise the utility belt higher, but I have problems keeping it up. I am working on attaching snaps on the front to hold the belt in place, but I am afraid that the female snaps I have already attached to my belt are too low. I will also try to move the drop boxes out more (that might prove to be a problem since they are trapped by the rivets attaching the belt to the canvas belt).
  4. After 3 slow and grueling months of work on this suit, I finally finished my AM build. It was my first build and I just applied for 501st. I had a lot of fun and am already looking forward to my next build (as soon as I save some cash!). This is just a standard AM build but with a CAP-W bucket. Just wanted to post some of the pics here as I'm sure there's a lot I need to fix and whatnot. BTW I know the ammo belt on the right thigh is detached on the right side. I am working on fixing that =). Anyways, here we go! And this is my "How YOU doin'?" pic...
  5. This picture cracks me up. I'm actually debating on whether or not I should cut my cod piece or not either on my AM kit. I might try trooping with it uncut first to see how things go. If I find myself needing to bend over a lot for whatever reason, I'll cut it.
  6. My buddy is working on his 2nd suit and it's an AP kit. Upon seeing my AM kit he immediately grabbed a few pieces and said "I miss this stuff". He said this while he was covered in shredded white plastic bits
  7. I'm 5'6" and a bit husky as well. I recently got an AM kit and I have A LOT of trimming to do, but for the most part I think it was the best route for me. It gives me room to work with.
