The Celebration 2022 Stormtrooper definitely has hip/upper leg ribs Kenobi troopers had ribs There are a few items that will need updating like the holster, I can't see a new CRL just for a holster or a TD end cap being a different color. It could be like other CRL's take the gunner, they have 6 version of gunners in one CRL2 points

Hello. I was asked to make an introduction and explain my/our background. I personally have worked in the film industry for over 35 years. From Independence Day to Pirates of the C to Transformers to Dark Knight to Iron Man to Avengers, etc. I've been a 501st member since 2003 or 2005. I created the original rubber blasters for the 501st as Sci-fire.com and then later Hyper-Firm. I gave that company over to someone else to continue so I could spend more time with my wife and son. In 2017, I created Praetorian Blasters designed to do less quantity but higher quality. In 2021, I was hired by Lucasfilm/Disney to be the Property/Droid Illustrator and oversee all prop and droid manufacturing for the series "Obi-Wan". I was then re-hired to "Mandalorian S3", "Ahsoka" and more recently in 2024 "Mando and Grogu". I've also worked on "Boba Fett" and "Skeleton Crew" to lesser degrees. Many of my blasters from Praetorian were used on these productions simply because I'd already done the work to create masters, etc. I've been making rubber blasters and armor for over 20 years (I'm old). Now that we're done with Mando for the time being, I've returned to our shop in Louisiana and we are working on several shows at once and continuing the blasters for the 501st members.1 point

The newer suits definitely have ribbing at the hips, I can confirm that. The older, actual Rogue One suits appear not to have. There don't seem to be quite enough differences to split out the Rogue One stormtrooper CRL from the D+ shows, but I agree that this should be optional and the text noted above removed.1 point

Hello Luis. It looks like you have done a great job. There is only one thing that looks like it has not been fixed, and that is the neck trim. It will be enough if you add some pictures of the helmet where we can see that it has already been corrected. Thank you very much!1 point

So the SE-14R that is in Obi-Wan and then Mandalorian is the one that we made. It's slightly different between Obi-Wan and Mando S3/Ahsoka1 point

Just remember there is no rush and there is never enough research, take your time and you will know when it feels right to jump on the next step One other thing to consider is screen accuracy opposed to fan sculpt, it all comes down to what you want and how much you are willing to part with. When asked how hard it is to build my reply is have you ever assembled a plastic model kit, it's just like that only the parts are bigger1 point

When you get your BBB, the best way to go about everything if you want to have your head in the game and not get lost is to create a build thread! We have members all across the globe and there is always someone awake that would be able to help you out on everything from verifying cut lines to how to paint your helmet! The forum will help you get all the way there to a completed suit of armor! Example: You: "Hey, I don't know where to cut! [attached image]" Forum: "I would suggest this line [attached image]" You: "I drew the with a pencil, is this what you mean? [attached image]" Forum: "Yes exactly, looks good! " That's what you can expect from a build thread!1 point

While I don’t currently have an AM kit myself, that’s definitely the route I hope to go for my next set of armor someday. Excellent quality; great for larger troopers. Plus, in my opinion, Dave has the best thermal detonator of all the American and Canadian armor makers. [emoji2957] I too had never built any armor and costumed before embarking on my own TK journey five years ago. I’m sure you can do it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point
