  1. Yeah getting a good contrasting background has been a challenge for me just because most of my house is either too small for good pictures or has a very busy background, and all non busy places outside are a bunch of white walls. I'm going to be getting a green screen to help with that though, especially because once I get it I can do it inside and not rely on it being another sunny day (which has been rare lately where I live lol)

  2. Nice work Alice, it's all about the details I found in the past having a full length mirror really handy for checking fitment, your photographer doesn't always know what to look out for. In most of my TK armors I don't have full mobility, as long as you comfortably walk and move you should be good to go. One thing which your GWL will love you for would be taking your photos inside with a contrasting backdrop, makes editing your photos for the legion database so much easier. Lighting outdoors can distort and add shadows to photos. We have a thread about taking photos here

  3. That looks REALLY good. The pack level and location looks identical to the action figures from your side view shots. That's impressive. Really well done!! How's your mobility? I ask because it looks like your upper shins and cod armor interfere with each other. Earlier is probably a better time than later for trimming, in case you wanted to do it. Give it a clearance trim and then repaint while the paint is fresh and you remember how you weathered it. Just a suggestion. That's the only interference area I see from these pix and it's SO nice when you can walk without cod/thigh armor bumping each other.

  4. Well it's a good thing I am not an accountant Im not exactly sue what I did wrong, but I miscalculated the goal, and we are going to need to re-open the fundraiser. The correct total to get us to the 14 month goal is $865.39. As of writing there is approximately $100 still to raise to make this goal. All donations will still be eligible for the 2025 supporter banner. We' would still ask for a $5 donation from members, but any value no matter how small will be appreciated. Apologies for the error.

  5. I went with a low budget version! The ID plate is 3D printed and the troop count is simply drawn on with permanent marker. A great way to keep track of troops and a wonderful conversation starter!
