  1. Decided to get some painting and some minor repairs done today and yesterday on my bucket after doing nothing for a while, feels good to work on it again. My speaker system's audio jack broke so I tried soldering a new one on the end, electricity can flow through it but I must've screwed up the audio connections or something because when plugged in they do nothing, still it was fun learning how to solder and attach different kinds of wires together even if it didn't work, I'll fix that another day. A while ago I painted out all the base black lines on my helmet aside from the ears, and today I masked over them (not sure how thin the black surrounding stripes had to be so I just eyeballed it from the photos gmrhodes13 sent earlier) and added the first light layer of grey, I'll probably only need two layers and then I'll clearcoat it, so far I think it's coming along pretty good, painting is fun too. Anyway that's all for today, peace out.

  2. Hello Alexander and welcome to the FISD. I think the Imperial Death Trooper belongs to the Spec Ops Detachment: https://specops501st.com/ But we also have a section for other 501st costumes: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/99-other-501st-costumes/

  4. Worth mentioning that image you have here is the modern Rogue One/Anthology suit. This was manufactured using casting techniques and generally is replicated using 3D printing. Most of the generally available armour will be the older Original Trilogy style, more specifically A New Hope or Empire Strikes back. These are vacuum forumed parts, with a latex hand plate. Without knowing the need this may or may not matter for your build.

  6. Hey folks, I know it has been pretty silent, but I had to do some modifications (then pictures fully suited and more little mods) But I finally got to a point where I am pretty pleased and have taken all your inspirations and thoughts into it, so here we go, hope all of you like it: First one is cutout, quality for the CRL will be better, but I only gonna start with it as soon as I got the go to move on!
