Big news! My BBB should be here tomorrow. Per Walt's instruction, I ordered a Ton of Devcon to help with the assembly. From the pictures I have seen of the kit, Walt made some interesting choices with how he decided to create his molds, but I will make it work. I love that the Rebels TK has the "lines" built into them, but the shin molds appear to have been pulled to create a front and back, instead of a side to side like the Live action TK. so this will most likely require filling and painting and all that. I may end up separating the back into 2 parts, then attach both to the front, and have the opening at the back of the shin. But all this will just depend and decisions will be made once the kit is in hand. This is a very difficult build in the fact that there are only 5 in the entire legion that have them approved. Will surely have questions and want to get the advice or opinion of this detachment along the way and am very excited to have a costume that not many have, or have seen. Stay tuned!2 points

Glad you asked. I've been working on this subject for awhile. It's still a WIP but maybe you can get some ideas from the research I've done. I've been interested in creating a very flexible audio system that can play a very large number of audio clips via a glove controller (only 1 button) and a position sensor. This is what they use at Galaxy's Edge and is pretty cool and gives you a lot more choices for sounds, but also adds a lot more complexity. Do you want recorded sound clips, or to use your own voice? Recorded sounds have limitations, such as how many you can easily trigger to play by buttons. This works well for characters like Wookiees or Jawas who really only make a few unique sounds. If you don't want to be limited to a few canned phrases, you may want to go with mic headset and a simple audio amp. You can probably do that for pretty cheap < $50 on Amazon. Microphone + Amplifier I've been using the iComm & Aker amp setup that I see alot of people using. For me it hasn't worked well. Mounting in the chest has a very muffled sound (maybe it's my voice) but no one can understand me unless I repeat myself at least once. I get a lot of blank stares which is not super-impressive. I switched to JUST using the amplifier + mic system. It's a little better sound, but I mostly have the same problem. Namely, being able to turn it up to be understandable but also not cause feedback from your helmet. Chest mount amps seem to suffer from this. Another thing I've witnessed for folks who have an external amplifier located in a pouch (those Scouts!): you can understand them pretty well, but the audio in the helmet gives some sort of cross-talk that makes it sound non-stormtrooper like (to my ears). I just want to hear the audio from the speaker. Buy: So, long story even longer, if you want a simple sound board with 4 or 8 clips, visit Etsy and search for "sound glove" and you should get the standard ones I've seen. You can find them on Youtube for DIY. My Plans: I just put out an order on Fiverr for someone to professionally record sound clips. My voice just isn't stormtrooper-y. They do 100 words for $20 which was a decent starter to try this out with. Gotchas: I created what I thought was a easy to use button controller, but after I put it on with the glove it became clear I wouldn't have the dexterity due to the bulk of the gloves. This is even with a much larger button surface like below. Spacing the buttons farther might help but it makes the controller very wide, which it's already sticking out from the palm to be visible, which isn't what I want. Sorry for the length of this, but it's a WIP and probably going to become a separate thread.2 points

Alright, here we go! I'm excited to begin a thread for my build on Captain Enoch, I'm notoriously bad at updates on build threads, but my goal is to try and document as much as I can for this build while keeping an eye on the CRL as it progresses as well. Currently, I have most of what may be needed for this build ordered, with the exception of the chest, back, and blaster. I'll toss in some links to what I've been looking at so others can use them if desired. Helmet: Walsh3D File and to be printed in resin/ABS. There are a few helmet files out there so far, but this seems to be pretty darn close. Found here: Enoch Night Trooper Helmet - 3D Print Model – Wireframe (wirefram3d.com) Working on getting this printed now, and hope to start on it in the next week or so. Neck Seal: References show a black neck seal, similar to what other R1 style TKs have been using. On order from Sheev's Emporium. Found here: Sheev's Emporium - Facebook Undersuit: Enoch has a burgundy/dark red color to his undersuit, with the ribbing, so a custom one is on order from Sheev's Emporium also. Belt/Kama/Holster: David at Sheev's and I have been working on getting the designs for the Kama, Tassets, Belts, and Holster researched. Lots of great progress and he's been sharing some of his designs on his page and the Enoch/Night Trooper Facebook groups so far. Chest/Back: General thoughts are that the chest is customized to fit the actor, along with a custom back. Galactic Armory has said that they're going to do the armor, so fingers crossed it's high up on his list to get to. GA's site can be found here: https://galacticarmory.net/ Arms/Legs/Abd: Since this is mostly likely some R1 armor, going to go with 850 Armorworks for the pieces that haven't been customized. Found here: Rogue One Stormtrooper costume armor kit Mimban Solo Anthology TK (850armorworks.com) Gloves: David at Sheev's Emporium and I have been discussing this a bit, and we're hoping that these tough gloves are a close fit. Currently on order from Amazon, should be in this week. They're "chestnut" in color, but I've seen a few reviews on Amazon mentioning they have a bit of purple and tend to darken with use. Hoping to use that as is, or some leather paint to match the references seen so far. Found here: Amazon.com: Tough Gloves Marksman-X Ultra Thin Leather Gloves, TD 215 Chestnut Handguards: Thinking that they are the same as the R1 suits, just with the custom coloring. Included with the 850 armor. Boots: Standard R1 boots like the other R1 suits I believe, on order from KeepTrooping. Found here: (keeptrooping.com) Blaster: One of the only times we've seen it out of the holster is the standee that was recently published. I hope someone tackles this as a 3D file soon for printing. Excited to get started, and like many of you I prefer to get it right! Welcome to thoughts and feedback as the build progresses!1 point

I think I'm done with this unless something new comes out. I'm happy to work on the CRL and get something pushed through!1 point

Search and they will be found TK chatter Google Drive link https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/14vAaXe7vzNsBYuzQy8Ro2yc0sjnb5k7S?usp=sharing For my TK I use and Icomm and an Aker amp. For some of my other costumes I use a small mp3 player and an Aker amp gutted so it fits in pouches, I also use 2 relay remotes to activate start/stop and select, once the remote is stripped they are only a little larger than a CR2032 battery they fit nicely into gloves, with a loop of elastic glued to them so they stay on the fingers.
