ChrisThePropGuy[TK] Posted April 5 Author Report Posted April 5 Going over all these, the eyes seem to be cut slightly different each time as the thickness of the eye interior return edge is not consistent it seems? Quote
Sly11[Admin] Posted April 15 Report Posted April 15 There is another detail you can add to the inside of the cog on the backplate. In the bottom left quarter in the base of the cod there is a depression as seen on the R1 screen asset photo. I think there are few more closer shots I'll see of I can dig up for you 1 Quote

ChrisThePropGuy[TK] Posted May 6 Author Report Posted May 6 (edited) Its that time of the month again! I found some time to work on this. Remade the torso from the ground up and a lot more happy with it. Let me know any critiques as I will be aiming to print them ASAP. Please keep in mind the back indents are not put in yet as I need to complete all forms first. Edited May 6 by ChrisThePropGuy 5 Quote
ChrisThePropGuy[TK] Posted June 3 Author Report Posted June 3 In my efforts to hit arbitrary deadlines and a burnout from school work I decided to spend a couple hours on the TK. Helmet is nearing its final tweaks and hopefully can show it off soon but wanted to show where armour is at. Its missing a few details but all the main forms are complete. Let me know what you think! 3 Quote
Sayless Posted June 3 Report Posted June 3 This looks incredible Chris! Excited to see once you've gotten some pulls done on this. I think the only thing I noticed (even though you've stated it's missing some details) is the ammo boxes on the right thigh. Otherwise, you seem to have the rest knocked out! Quote
ChrisThePropGuy[TK] Posted June 4 Author Report Posted June 4 Almost done on the hlmet, I think its just about ready for cutting the details out, as always CC welcome. Quote
SirNameSurname Posted June 9 Report Posted June 9 The only thing that's sticking out to me is the grey cheek vent. On the actual helmet the indentation it sits in is slightly larger than the piece itself. On yours it sits flush. Also on the bicep, I think the cutout on the inside arm should maybe be more of a sharp z shape. Yours is more of smooth transition between the higher and lower section. That being said, they look fantastic andI'm very much looking forward to this releasing. Ill be buying these files day 1. Quote
ChrisThePropGuy[TK] Posted June 22 Author Report Posted June 22 Getting a bit burned out on this but pushing to the end, rreally want some nitpicks if anyone has any. Have added the bumps as well as vents ect so no excuses here haha. 1 Quote
TheSwede[TK] Posted June 22 Report Posted June 22 Maybe the back is a bit long/extended when looking at screenused. I mean from the ear and back looking at side view. Not on a PC som can’t upload a photo. Maybe others can help. Quote
Sly11[Admin] Posted June 22 Report Posted June 22 I think the tear vent inserts need to be a touch smaller so some of the base they sit on is visible. As per this screen used helmet from the studio Auction, See towards the back of it there is that small gap of the floor it is attached to. I have seen this same gap across several reference images so should be nice and easy adjustment. Every little bit gets us closer. Great work Chris. 1 Quote
ChrisThePropGuy[TK] Posted June 23 Author Report Posted June 23 @Sly11 I had a check at the render and I forgot to put the black under the tears hense why it wasnt visible. Youll see in the new renders the gap. I also fixed the right eye as well as added the neck rubber. Quote
ChrisThePropGuy[TK] Posted June 23 Author Report Posted June 23 The armour is also done now! This took me a year as of a few days ago so very happy to have pretty much wrapped it up. Just have to make the mould files. I will give it a final look over before confirming moulds just in case theres something off. 3 Quote
TheSwede[TK] Posted June 23 Report Posted June 23 (edited) @ChrisThePropGuy look at the sideview of your files compaired to screenused and you’ll see your version is bit long ”in the neck” and the lower mouth has a different angle. Edited June 23 by TheSwede Quote

ChrisThePropGuy[TK] Posted June 26 Author Report Posted June 26 I did accidentaly upload the abdomen without the 2 vertical slits so reuploading the correct file now 1 Quote
TheSwede[TK] Posted June 26 Report Posted June 26 When opening the files, the bicep and forarms are in one piece? And the forearm is looking really strange with some sort of open overlap. Quote
TheSwede[TK] Posted June 26 Report Posted June 26 Also, if possible, uploading stl instead as bambu studio won’t recognize some of the files. Quote
ChrisThePropGuy[TK] Posted June 27 Author Report Posted June 27 I wont be hosting both STL and OBJ as it will take up double the room but it can be quickly re exported from Meshmixer as STL if parts arent importing. The forearm is supposed to have an opening and overlap. Quote
