  1. Sly reported this issue too, havent had this before. May have been a crash during export, looking into it now. WIll have fixed shortly
  2. https://marketplace.autodesk.com/apps/2e40e347-0369-4603-b83f-ecab324aed0f
  3. It just wont flex, I would reccomend putting velcro or magnets in the receptacle to hold it and just make it detachable rather than flipupable if that makes sense.
  4. I wont be hosting both STL and OBJ as it will take up double the room but it can be quickly re exported from Meshmixer as STL if parts arent importing. The forearm is supposed to have an opening and overlap.
  5. I did accidentaly upload the abdomen without the 2 vertical slits so reuploading the correct file now
  6. Files available now for purchase: https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/4527908109/star-wars-rogue-one-stormtroopertk-3d?sr_prefetch=1&pf_from=shop_home&ref=shop_home_active_1&sts=1&dd=1&logging_key=010140822195d1f5aa8a833ccfb14514577138a8%3A4527908109 Anyone who helped will get a discount, to claim just PM me.
  7. The armour is also done now! This took me a year as of a few days ago so very happy to have pretty much wrapped it up. Just have to make the mould files. I will give it a final look over before confirming moulds just in case theres something off.
  8. @Sly11 I had a check at the render and I forgot to put the black under the tears hense why it wasnt visible. Youll see in the new renders the gap. I also fixed the right eye as well as added the neck rubber.
  9. Getting a bit burned out on this but pushing to the end, rreally want some nitpicks if anyone has any. Have added the bumps as well as vents ect so no excuses here haha.
  10. Almost done on the hlmet, I think its just about ready for cutting the details out, as always CC welcome.
  11. In my efforts to hit arbitrary deadlines and a burnout from school work I decided to spend a couple hours on the TK. Helmet is nearing its final tweaks and hopefully can show it off soon but wanted to show where armour is at. Its missing a few details but all the main forms are complete. Let me know what you think!
  12. Its that time of the month again! I found some time to work on this. Remade the torso from the ground up and a lot more happy with it. Let me know any critiques as I will be aiming to print them ASAP. Please keep in mind the back indents are not put in yet as I need to complete all forms first.
  13. Ive noticed that little area. I can see the rectangle offset about 45 degrees from the bottom
  14. Going over all these, the eyes seem to be cut slightly different each time as the thickness of the eye interior return edge is not consistent it seems?
  15. I did see this, they did change studios who made more but afaik they are the same design, maybe just put together slightly different.
  16. Im playing around with the eyes a lot as I was given some critique to bring the thickness you mention down a bit. So many different variables that interplay and throw others off. Havent forgotten about the bump but as its an asymetric feature I have to add that last.
  17. Some little tweaks. Nothing major but I think its inching closer: It still missing some major details which make it look weird but again, just trying to finalise proportions and topology before I add certain things in as it will make adjusting later verry difficult.
  18. The video does go over some shoretrooper specific stuff but most of these parts are going into the R1TK so thought it would be cool to do a vid on how it all works! https://www.facebook.com/reel/919078963812192/
  19. Thanks for the quick response Glen! Defos right about the traps, I did recess them but not enough. The gap above the ear is just from the ear being a seperate parts at the moment and I had scaled the ear and didnt close it back up. The ear will be a seperate part for assembly so will be a seam there but not as big as that, good catch though Ill close it up. Check your DMs I sent a link to the file.
  20. I am also happy to send the file to those who want to get 360 views and match to perspectives ect. Anyone who lends a hand with refining the helmet and giving some good critiques can have the finished helmet files free as a thanks!
  21. Well its now nearly 7am, simply could not go to bed knowing the helmet wasnt at least 90%. The update is chalk and cheese, much happier with it! I think Im happy with the eye shapes. I might tweak the mouth a touch and see how I go. I also need to add the 1mm border to the tears. Let me know any critiques.
  22. Its nearly 4am and Ive been at this for what feels like 12h but managed to rough our most of the parts that were missing. Totally forgot about the helmet! I took the back of my patrol trooper helmet and added a new face plate. Something about it seems off though. Maybe something to do with the eyes? I think I need to raise the cap ever so slightly. To do list for next helmet revision: - Adjust traps - Rotate and scale ear details - Make new teeth I cant see anything imediately obvious so gonna need @Sly11 and @gmrhodes13 eagle eyes to give this a look over for the helmet and armour before I start adding more detail (ty ily x)
  23. Been a while boys but I am back on the saddle excited to get this ready for the 10th for R1! Making the arm moulds at the moment and I swear Im getitng better at engineering these clamshell parts, the overlap and fit is perfect! Need to paint the cover strips before moulding but thought Id give a quick teaser of what I got. Abdomen is almost done, just needs some sanding but will pull some tests of those this week if all goes well. Shins have just finished printing too. All thats left to design are: - Thighs - Butt - Cod - TD - Chest + Back redo (will explain in subsequent post) - Front belt (stillunsure of how I will tackle this part)
