SwedishTX Posted November 18, 2024 Author Report Posted November 18, 2024 Think i have made a big mistake on this project. I have printed so much and used my shadow under suit for reference. Now when i look at the suit on sheev's emporium the material feels thick? Does anyone here bought it and can tell how thick it is? I also asked sheev about it but I dont know if he is able so answer fast. 1 Quote
SwedishTX Posted November 18, 2024 Author Report Posted November 18, 2024 (edited) Update! i just ordered the suit from Sheev´s emporium! Which means i must stop my printing and painting untill it arrives so im sure about the scaling is correct! Happy building! Edited November 18, 2024 by SwedishTX add text 2 Quote

Great to hear, always best to try on your armor with the correct undersuit, especially with a ribbed, padded undersuit. Hopefully the wait won't be too long. 1 Quote

SwedishTX Posted November 24, 2024 Author Report Posted November 24, 2024 (edited) Tried a new method on the gold leafs and i want to share it with you! yesterday i repainted the shoulder armor and add gold leaf for the third time with great results! I dab the surface with a makeup sponge and apply the gold after 30 minutes, use a fine brush and then when you are happy with it, use your finger! most of the wrinkles will disappear ( if wrinkels is correct term ) Edited November 24, 2024 by SwedishTX 2 Quote

SwedishTX Posted December 26, 2024 Author Report Posted December 26, 2024 Yo! i hope all of you had a wonderful christmas! No update on the suit yet, but i know it will be top notch! I bought tk shoes from a friend in SG, they was to small for him and perfect on me! i don´t remeber what Nairy told me if it was roughe one shoes or Fotk? Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted December 26, 2024 Report Posted December 26, 2024 Rogue One and FOTK use the same boots, they have a zip on the inner sides, Original Trilogy has elastic on both sides like your photo so not acceptable for Enoch Boots are above ankle height and the same style as the First Order TK. Chelsea type boots in the style of OT TK are not acceptable. 1 Quote

SwedishTX Posted January 7, 2025 Author Report Posted January 7, 2025 Thank you both I´ts time now to cut out the lenses, i made a couple before but i dont know where they are. i hope i can bend them enough and still see in them. Quote
SwedishTX Posted January 7, 2025 Author Report Posted January 7, 2025 i bend it as much as i could, is it enough or should it be more " out side" the eye holes? i know the crl says ( level 2 ) "Eye Lenses are domed in shape." there is a guy on etsy selling eye lenses to this build but the reviews isnt that good only just thing i dont like with it is the gap ( check the arrow) Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted January 7, 2025 Report Posted January 7, 2025 Some makers of files supply a moulded eye plug, once printed and smooth you heat (heat gun or in oven) acrylic sheet and pull down over the plug, this gives you the curved shape. Some makers offer files for resin eyes already shaped to the mask. In the past I've even seen some even used spoons as the mold for pulling heated acrylic sheet over. Quote

I tried to shape lenses but that plastic start to bubble. I just order acrylic sheet so i will try that again 1 Quote

SwedishTX Posted May 6, 2025 Author Report Posted May 6, 2025 Hey! Small update! I have decided to print at new helmet, Rosario dawson is coming to comic con stockholm and I want her autograph on the helmet 🤓 I have another question to all experts on TK armors. I'm thinking about buying a R1TK armor on etsy, what is the difference between R1Tk armor and Enoch's? Chest armor i know about. Quote
