Master Replicas e11 blaster

Hello! its my first time here…

hope is the right spot to talk about …

Sorry if not!

I was wondering if master replicas e11 blaster does it worth the money. I surfed the net searching for something to buy but most of the time, even if e11 is 100% correct and well made is created with metal and resin parts. Or aluminium parts. The master replica one misses counter and cylinders but its 100% steel ( apart from t tracks ) and they can be added by ourself aniway. It seems is the only one 100% steel parts …. cant find anything better ( apart from very rare real sterling modified and still 100% complete)

Thankyou!

In my humble opinion "No" mr are not worth the financial outlay required.

After the disappointment of receiving mine, I used it as paperweight at first, then modded it with a couple of bright lights.

IMHO There are heaps of better blasters out there that are value for money and worth searching for. that or a Deac sterling, those are not that rare.

If it's for display purposes adding to a collection I'd recommend picking one up if you can, I love mine.

On the other hand if you want for trooping think again, the MR E11 is far too heavy.

Thankyou very much . I think is the only one made of full metal. Do you think the price will increase more after i buy one? i see someone selling at 1000+, someone at 2k + . In 10 years do you think is gonna be way more valuable? thankyou

thx . The troopacoola and blaster factory are the bests. but troopacoola have resin parts, which i don’t like… and blaster factory is aluminium ( too light and fragile probably)

If you're buying metal for for the purpose of increased value over time, I would recommend gold.

I think he was having a joke.

At the end of the day price is what someone will pay for it and how much they want it.

I hate to call a company out as I'm sure they really tried when making it, but the Master Replica has quite a few inaccuracies that even casual TK fans can see. The bolt is incorrect, there's no charging handle, the slot in the rear barrel is not even cut out and there's no inner coil spring... not that you could see it without the slot opening. And you already noticed the missing counter and power cylinders

In my somewhat humble opinion, the Blaster Factory E11 is the finest one you can just buy with your money. Yes, it's mostly aluminum (all parts that should be plastic ARE in fact plastic), but it's extremely strong.  All of the parts are VERY accurate. The folding stock is ever so slightly flimsy, but if you really want to, you can bolt an original Stirling folding stock right up to the BF E-11 and it fits. My own example has this mod. My own example has also been stripped down completely and built back up at least 50 times as I hacked it up to fit a BlastFX kit inside. No screws have stripped nor parts become flimsy. It's an incredibly well machined replica prop.

You can get an M38 or an M19 scope replica from them. Both feature brass end fittings for lovely paint scraped weathering action and both are hollow. They just lack the internal mirrors to make the scope actually work. The machining on the BF scopes is lovely. Everything is dead on accurate. The scope rail they provide is great as well.

The replica Hengstler counter that BF makes is also fantastic. The only part that lets it down slightly are the numbers. They're not quite accurate and stick out a bit compared to an original. The rest of the counter is incredible though, even the replica (I think it's a replica) coil they've produced. Just lovely and easy to fill with electronics if that's your thing.

The power cylinders that BF sells are THE FINEST. IN. THE. WORLD. Seriously, you cannot easily get a better replica.  Check out the obsessive detail on Chris' (the owner's) youtube channel.  They also sell cut down vintage magazines.

As I alluded to, you can indeed build or make a better replica than you can just buy from Blaster Factory, but it takes a lot of work. You could NOT easily turn the Master Replica into a better prop. You'd also destroy "the value" of that MR blaster in the process.

thank you for the super accurate answer. Probably the only good thing of MR is the weight and the long term value….

+60% in 5 years. But I was indeed joking, because all that needs to be said about the MR E-11 has already been said. Clearly you you still want one and we won't stop you.

To get good advise you need to be open about what you intend on using it as, because for trooping it's pretty terrible. The only thing it's good for is as a display piece, and even for that, there are more accurate options for less money.

I own the Master Replicas (MR) blaster as well as a genuine ANH conversion plus other Imperial blasters. The MR is very nice, made of steel, thus heavy and not quite good for tropoping, and comes with mirrored display case, numbered plaque and COA. It is an idealized version of the Sterling with t-tracks and scope. It is also lacking greeblies alas, no Hengstler counter and no mag cylinders, though you can add those - they intended to make a second version with those added greeblies, a member of another forum owns the prototype blaster with those add-ons. As mentioned by others the charging handle and the slot are missing, and this was intentional, as this was a Star Wars replica that was to be sold as an Imperial blaster and not a Sterling. Again MR E-11 is an idealized replica made mostly of steel. In the end it displays very nicely, but the price depends on your budget and willing to buy one.

If you are in Europe I'd be wary of ordering Blaster Factory E-11, even unassembled, because you never know what they will say at the customs and you might end up without the blaster and money too. Not to mention the expensive shipping costs and VAT and customs taxes.

As for value, MR pieces usually hold their value and many increase in time. But there is a limit to which they can increase to and not go beyond that. It all depends on the prop/helmet/model in the end. MR Stormtrooper blaster is a very nice piece, but not the most expensive MR collectible. I bought my MR AT-AT Signature Edition in 2009 for $900 shipped, now it can be sold for $6000-7000 plus shipping. So depends.

From top to bottom: MR, ANH real deal conversion, ROTJ real MGC conversion, ESB/ROTJ RS Prop Masters stunt resin blaster (aka Pugman)

Thankyou brother for the super detailed answer.

Yeah i live in Italy …. so would be very hard for me to order one of “real “ sterling even if not assembled. Like you said i would easily lose it at the custom. Plus 900 dollars for an aluminium ,quite fragile replica, and not assembled is TOO MUCH . another one is Troopacoola but is 50% metal and 50% resin ( still fragile ) wich i dont like…. at the end i bought the MR one and arrived yesterday. 1200 euro ….. but i see someone sell it for 2000+ so at the end not so bad .

Ps : LOVELY collection , gratz

I'm sure you know better, but all I've heard is that Italy has pretty liberal gun laws, so getting a deactivaded sterling might not be so difficult after all in your case.

It might be worth looking up.

Very valid consideration Mathias and on point, I did wonder if Sithping had provided the answer Luca was looking for?, in his excellent and reply.

I can also confirm that there are only 3499 of the MR in circulation! so that may have already increased their value? :)

Good luck in whatever direction you decide to go with Luca.

There are less than 3499 MR E-11 blasters. :) I used to have a loose one, which went to a friend, and also one that was in pieces, which I sold as parts many years ago on this very forum.

quite liberal, i mean …. it’s easy to get a sporting gun license. Just this. For the rest is not easy ….. but at the custom if they see a metal reassembled gun … mmmh don’t know what can happen

A fair question, but worth asking them about. Since it's not functional and they should be able to see that with a simple inspection - it should be fine, as long as it's deactivated to italian spec. You may need a collector license or similar. If it's just parts of a prop and not an actual deactivated sterling it should 0 issues even if they take a look at it.

So we can confirm three down already only a few more and their prices go up, I see ppl asking £3500 & £2500over on the bay now.

I'd love to see and read more on the others you have, esp the MCG, maybe you have an older thread you can point me too, or a new one :D
