If I may suggest adding a little foam behind your sniper plate/shin it will help keep it away from your thigh

I will be placing foam inside the thigh, I do not have any room in my shins.

If you add foam behind the front of the shin/sniper plate it pushes away from the leg and the thigh. Or you can add foam inside the back of the thigh, that will help push the thigh backwards away from the sniper plate.
