Rat[TK]
So this is a great honor and privilege a future garrison mate has entrusted me with. I'm up for it though there will be some modification needed. Anyone with tips on resizing the kidney, back and chest would be handy. This is mostly because I'm not sure of methods to do so. She is also a bit on the thinner side at roughly 5'7" and 150 pounds. So I've already gotten her roughly fitted and know those areas will need to be addressed. I'll reach out for some info on higher levels and what is acceptable as I go as well. She may never apply for anything more than basic, but I'll do my best to build to Centurion. So off we go to interesting territory. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk

Rat[TK]
Hey Rat this armor isn't much different than RS. Here's an RS build thread for smaller troopers I remember following Dianes build, but when I went to review it many of her photos are blurry for some reason. May be something on my end so I'll try again. Most of the nodding I have to make are in width not so much in height.Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
Rat[TK]
So the standard sizing is about complete. Now to move forward on marking out the modifications that will be needed. I'll shorten the shoulder tabs and trim some off the bottom of the chest. I will also be separating the cod to shorten it as well. The kidney I will just reshape a bit and use foam to make up any extra space. The back and butt plate will be left as is for now. Then of course some heat shaping is gonna happen on the forearms and thighs. I'll be using TrooperMasters suggestions for the thigh trimming as well.Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
Rat[TK]
So I've started gluing the basic stuff like the biceps and forearms. Now time to let the E-6000 to cure and I can put in some work on the magma kit. Also had a bit of a freak accident with my belt sander where one of the forearms got pulled and wedged between the belt and wheel. So paste and sanding to fix that and a spot of paint and you'll never know it happened.
Rat[TK]
So big jump forward. All done and delivered. I'm mostly happy with it but it bugs me that the kidney and ab on the right side seems out of alignment. But I wasn't there for this. The only complaint she has is that she wants to add straps to the forearm to bicep, as we initial wanted to go with foam.Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
justjoseph63[Staff]
WOW... awesome job on this build, sir! You are right, that kidney/ab connection would drive me nuts, lol. It looks to still have it's return edge, so could definitely stand for some trimming. Also noticed that the ABS belt could be centered a bit more if possible. The button ideally should be centered above the center cod ridge. Adding straps to the forearm/bicep would not only keep them from riding down, but would also help keep them from twisting. Looking forward to seeing your next commission!

Looking forward to seeing your next commission! Thanks Joseph the cod was separated as she is a little short for a trooper, but I did line it up with the original groove. It may just be The angle of the photo. The foam was her choice and has decided she doesn't like it. That ab and kidney connection I think can be solved by adding a bit of foam to fill out the space a little.Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
