Hi Jayson.  Congrats on getting this far :)

I would recommend getting an tapatalk or imgur account (they are free) for posting pictures.  They will be much larger and better quality.  I'm finding it hard to see details in the images as posted above.

Good luck with approval, trooper!

Just a quick look as I’m out and about:

Shoulder bridges should be glued down at the front, can see velcro.

Shoulder bells appear to be sitting quite high, could be as your chest is low.

Chest plate needs to come up, an plate also to give you some room at the top of you’re thighs.

Belt is not straight.

Forearms need rotating.

Thigh cover strips should stop above the lower ridges, not continue to the bottom.

Boots sticking out of shins at front.

Blue on an plate buttons looks very dark, should be French Blue #14

Holster should not be held on by loops, should be short straps attached to lower section of belt.

You do have a gap in the sides, ok for basic but shins would be needed for higher levels.

Shins on rear should close from the outside over the inside so the opening is not seen from the outside.

Thigh ammo stop should not be curved on top, should be a straight corner, only curved on bottoms. Also looks like it is secured with screws in the bottom corners, should be attached in the top corners and on the lower ridge, should be held with cap rivets.

Also when taking the photos try to use a blank background, makes it a little easier for you’re GWL to edit ;)

That will have to do for the moment, I’ll comment later if others haven’t ;)

SDS does need some work right out of he box so don’t be disheartened a few tweaks and you’ll be fine.

Is the canvas belt made out of canvas? It looks like it may be ABS as well? Agreed with Glen's feedback, though not sure if the chest does need to come up? Looks like it's close to your neck there.

The sniper plate should not be attached with screws should be glued and should be cut straight at the ends, not rounded. You will need to fill the screw holes with abs paste or white silicon, here's a thread on abs paste https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/42866-how-to-make-abs-paste/

You can also check references with the CRL (costume reference library) https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_anh_stunt

Hope those references help, anything else don't hesitate to contact me here or on our local forum

All calves have velcro.

So can we just show pics with edit in the places you think need to be fixed.

And what I need to get approval thats all I need.

In your right side photo it appears the shins are closing from the inside over the outside, they should close from the outside over the inside so the opening is not seen from the outside.

Have a look at the reference photos I have posted you can compare and see what is required to change as I suggested early on in your journey research is the key to this hobby, there are lots of great reference images in the gallery section and you can also compare with the CRL link I posted earlier ;)

Belt should be fabric not ABS on the sides and rear, only the front section of belt is ABS.

Hey Jayse01

I have the SDS as well and am starting to mod it.

I do have some questions:

How are you solving the top rounded edges of the thigh ammo pack?

What glue are you using to attach the sniper plate to the left calf? ABS paste?

Good luck on you modifications.

I would recommend gluing the sniper plate on with E6000.  There's only a few attachment points, but they're enough.  Mine's been holding for 3+ years now.

Im using Gorilla grip. Also on the thighs I have made a belt with snaps and doing away with the shoulder harness. The whole main body will be snaps and floating shoulder straps with under elastic . It will all be 1. So all I do is step into it. No more this part then this part.

Also belt will be canvas as requested. That will have to wait as postage takes about a month. Its a full strip down and rebuild. If I get time I will post so pics.

Just had a quick read of the thigh reqs and it says nothing about been rounded or square.

So unless someone can show me that its a requirement that would be good.

If its is regards to the round ends. Will I cut them straight and then rounded the bottom. The ammo packs are fine as is.

Thigh closure is easy just swap ova velcro to close the right way.

Sniper plate I have fixed. But need to fill 2 holes.

Research is the key, gallery section is a good tool to use

The issue you will have is that if you cut the ends straight it will be too short, another pre approval SDS has contacted ATA about buying a replacement https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/47286-helotech-requesting-pre-approval-sds/

You could also contact SDS and enquire about a replacement but not trimmed rounded cornered.
