Toothpick or Q-tip with Mineral Spirits or Paint Thinner. The only danger with a Q-tip is you might capture some cotton fuzz in your paint.

Good Luck!

I used Testors Paint thinner in a little glass bottle that you can get from Hobby Lobby. You could use a cotton swab as well.

Humbrol has their own brand of thinner sold at the same stores that carry the paint. It will do the trick. But it's a lot more work when the paint is cured and hard.

Is your bucket abs or pvc?

Abs then commercial hobby paint thinner or mineral spirit with a cotton bud,

If it's pvc the acetone is fine, BUT ONLY ON PVC!

the force? oh I'll use the force, bring me a hammer...

If you are worried about using an acetone or thinner you could just use a compound polish to hand buff off the paint

Tamiya swabs with thinner are excellent for removing paint. The cotton is spun very tightly on the stem so there's no shedding at all. I use these with my scale models and I love them.
