JSWald Posted February 3, 2016 Report Posted February 3, 2016 Yesterday I made the decision to give up on my FX armor restoration project and buy new, complete armor from AP. Anybody have any tips or recommendations with it? Quote
spyder918 Posted February 3, 2016 Report Posted February 3, 2016 There are tons of information, builds, tutorials regarding AP armor. Check out the builds section, I've found them to be super helpful and informative. Quote
DarkTrooper[TK] Posted February 3, 2016 Report Posted February 3, 2016 You will not be disappointed. Great choice! Quote
Cladius Posted February 3, 2016 Report Posted February 3, 2016 AP armour is what I went with as well. Very good choice on your part. Quote
Gizzy Trooper Posted February 5, 2016 Report Posted February 5, 2016 I'm looking at getting one too but getting it already made as I don't have the time to build one Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Airborne Trooper[501st] Posted February 5, 2016 Report Posted February 5, 2016 You could always use your old FX to make a death trooper. Quote
TKZombie[TK] Posted February 5, 2016 Report Posted February 5, 2016 (edited) You like the screen accuracy of the AP over your old armor. Edited February 5, 2016 by TKZombie Quote
ABS80 Posted February 5, 2016 Report Posted February 5, 2016 (edited) AP is now concidered the biggest of all screen lineage suits with a much bigger mid section and leg parts ect.. actually my shoulder straps are longer than movie originals with over 2 inches extentions so people can cut to size. All trooper costumes that have lineage to movie suit have same size chest and back piece, meaning RS, TE, ATA ect... even Anovos and TM are very similar in size, the only larger chest are the FX, RT I believe which are fan sculpts and totally innacurate, in my many years of trooper making this is the first I hear AP chest is small. HansDC[TK] Posted February 9, 2016 Report Posted February 9, 2016 I think my AP was the last few batches to come before the newly improved version thats offered now. Even then I'm very very happy with it and it has been good to me so far for 19 troops in 13 months. Just starting to show some wear but I think that makes it look a little more authentic! Thats what I tell my self anyways. If and when I replace it I would have no issues getting the same one. Good luck with yours! Quote
