TFA build threads gone

Greetings! I recently created an account on FISD and had been closely following the TFA build threads. However, as of today they are no longer listed. If I google "TFA build threads" I can easily find the page with current updates on threads that I was following. While that's not too big of a deal to do, I'm wondering why I can't see them without having to do that. Thanks for the help!

Yep. We have them hidden from public view for the moment. Please stand by while we sort stuff out.

Thanks for your patience,

Thank you for your patience. We're working on it. For the moment the TFA builds are only viewable by 501st members.

If you need to request access to those areas please post here:

Argh... I just got ahold of an ANOVOS TFA kit I'm intending to finish so I can seek 501st approval, and I was depending on those build threads to help me through the construction process :( Is there any recourse for someone like me? I knew I should have saved the offline HTML of them... :/

Because of the NDA members who purchased the kits signed the info has to be cleansed from public view. I presume the op hasn't signed an NDA and isn't a 501st member?

Well, in theory one could just get an IC, a LegionID, and see everything.  All but the build threads is released, and we're just checking with the build thread posters to get their OK to put them public again.  In the end the NDA is with them and ANOVOS, and it's up to them how to set the visibility.

In other words, not really different than any other thread on FISD...

You make it sound like one can just run over to the department store and pick up an Imperial Crew outfit.  ;)

I came to the exact same conclusion a couple days ago though, because I think my TK build is going to take me at least 9 months, maybe more.  So I spent the weekend researching this tangent, and I'd be happy to share notes with anyone else who decides to go down this path.  It's probably obvious, but the getting started thread over on the IOC forums is the place to start.  In particular, their resource list is, and their on-going sales forum.
