FunkyTrigger[TK]
You already know that your centurion application will not be approved with your 30mm tan holster straps. They visually stand out as looking too wide on this holster as mentioned in your EIB application.

TK6682[TK]
Photo added. Strap cut to 20mm as requested. A bit hard to tell but the measurements are there. Edited October 11, 2013 by TK6682

ircphoenix
That belt looks legit. Excellent fix Doc.I do have to point out that I believe there is a section about 1 mm wide and 2 mm in length that you missed on the top most gray ab button.I'd get that fixed ASAP.And though your frown looks correct, I'm just not feeling intimidated... so if you could also work on making me feel more intimidated, that would be great. Jancelot[TK]
Very nice! The suit fits you great. Per suggestions on my Centurion thread, I toned down the brass on my Hyperfirm scope. A light dusting of semi-flat black did the trick. Also, the handle shouldn't be weathered. Not required but a nice touch to accuracy. The5thHorseman[TK]
Looking at your Sniper Knee Plate, i think its side could be more straight for a closer movie accuracy: I don't know if that could be a Centurion show-stopper though. Still, if it's e6000 glued and if you find the time, it might be something good to do to push further in accuracy. And good luck with your approval, your armor is excellent!! TK6682[TK]
According to the Detachment Officer this was all set for centurion except for the holster straps at 30mm. So now that those have been cut to 20mm, all should be good. I do thank you all for your suggestions. Lets get out there and do some Trooping! vecspeed12
Good thing you have original strapping style. Because if you had snap plates, thats not accuracy.

Echo[TK]
Question, does the crotch split rivet need to be brass for the centurion artisan award?
Darth Aloha[Admin]
Joey... remind me someday when I'm in the bay area next to wack you over the bucket with an E-11... a real sterling... not a rubber one. Goof. -Eric

TK6682[TK]
Echo, I am not sure about your question. I have seen nothing about "Brass" split rivets in the CRL's nor the Centurion Visual Checklist. Is there some secret thread that spells out all of the requirements? Is there any way we can get the CRL's updated with accurate EIB and Centurion information/requirements? I thought that was what the 2nd and 3rd level was supposed to be about. Maybe adding to the holster section to include 20mm straps. This costume has only been around for 35+ years... The5thHorseman[TK]
Is there some secret thread that spells out all of the requirements? in fact, the secret thread is all the other Centurion Applications! As i said there're plenty of small details that have become required to obtain the Centurion grade which aren't written in the CRL (and which will probably never be). And sadly the question about updating the CRLs just seems like an utopia for me... Those things are nearly immutable!
TK6682[TK]
So, what you are saying is go through "all the other Centurion Applications" when building your armor? That would mean going through multiple threads and reading all the comments in order to decide of you gear is "good" enough. Isn't that a bit unnecessary? Why not make a Sticky thread that has it all spelled out for our members? Edited October 12, 2013 by TK6682
TK6682[TK]
With it all spelled out we can prevent bickering and arguments as seen in my EIB application. Isn't that a more welcoming and nurturing environment?
