  1. Looks like a T-21 in this shot (minus the Enfield strap)
  2. Got a chance to troop last weekend on the big gun patrol
  3. Just wanted to stop by and say, I love it! cant wait to see the rest of the armor!
  4. Nice find I may need to try that one. I just panted my tubing (with rustolium flat black) it has scratched off. What would happen if you if you just spray paint inside the tube?
  5. We'll I had to build a stand. I think I have this about wrapped up.
  6. Nice, considering a real Lewis gun weighs 28lbs
  7. Working on some details tonight. I added the shinny section on the taper. And had "a happy little accident" when I pealed the mask off I had some black paint peal off so I filled it in with silver. I also found some better blue wire to use.
  8. Nice work, what is it's weight? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Had a chance to troop with my T21 blaster this weekend, in a heavy weapons variant . It wasn't too heavy and I don't think I knocked anyone over with it. It will be fun to have an alternate look at troops as I'm the only active TK in our city.
  10. 95% done, small details to add and painting to complete. Weight aprox. 6lbs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Last night I got the tapper sanded into shape and started shapping the detail tubing. I dinged up the stock a little weathering.
  12. Current progress, this represents 9 days work. I hope to have it done for a troop next weekend. I also got my repro straps today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Last nights progress built the front and rear sights installed the tubing and painted the cooling fins. I'll throw it on the scale after I build the front taper and see what it weighs.
  14. Hello I started a T21 build, I need a big gun to pack every once in a while. I'm following panda troopers tutorial so not much new, but I thought I'd share a couple of progress photos. And how I did a few things. Heres a tip print the template at full scale, spray with a little contact spray and let it dry than stick it on the wood and cut it out, I used my jigsaw to rough cut and then finished it off on the band saw I had some oak board that I laminated with the pine and shaped the stock. I hope to stain the wood as opposed to painting so the grain will show. This is how I built the cooling fins. Seemed easier to me and the fins extend into the barrel and will look a little better. I have some slings on order when I get those I'll fabricate the d ring
  15. It was on the order page 25 i think, mine shipped I post a photo when I get them. I should start a build thread.
  16. Try these im working on a T21 myself, best price I could find had to call in the order, it was under their min. online price but there on the way. http://www.e-sarcoinc.com/leeenfield3or4slingwwiwbrassstamp.aspx
  17. I've started a T21 build based on your tutorial but im confused by this piece. I don't see this on the landing bay captains T21 or see it on any of the Lewis gun reference photos. I'm curious where you see this piece on the prop? thanks
  18. How do you mount the fan in the chin? behind the vocodor? waht kind of attachment method? How do you avoid interferance with the mic in a chin location I always get feedback.
  19. Yea, to me, it does stick out as not SA for an upper lever costume. I just wouldn't want to work so hard to get SA, then throw a sticker on it. But to each group there own. Heck after working over my old FX armor to get it to EIB I'm disappointed with it. I was planning on starting a different costume but now I'm considering ordering a new set of TK armor, because now I cant stand the FX look, after studying accurate armor. Congratulation on a nice set of armor, I love your BFG, I want one someday.
  20. I'm wondering why the shoulder sticker is ok for EIB/Centurion status? You guys were up in arms over holster strap widths, a while back.
  21. Suggestion - If you have a crafter in the family see if you can find a hole punch the size you need for the ab button. Punch a hole in some painters tape to give you a nice guide. Or use a circle drawing template and draw a guide line with pencil. Good luck!
