But if they are anything like screen accurate shoulder bells then they are likely not deformed at all. The original armour was really wonky and asymmetric to begin with. DizzyStormtrooper[501st] Posted March 4, 2013 Report Share Posted March 4, 2013 When I shape my parts, I wear my welding gloves,cuz abs takes longer and has to get hotter, too hot to touch at the point that it can bend. If yours are hips it won't take long and can be done at cooler temps. you should just be able to heat up the middle to open it up a bit at a time Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
LadyInWhite[TK] Posted March 4, 2013 Report Share Posted March 4, 2013 Just be careful, esp. with HIPS, that the edges warp very easily. 9 out of 10 problems on my clone armor are from this problem. If it's ABS a hair dryer might not get hot enough. You could also try boiling them and shaping while it's warm in there, and then dip in a bowl of cold.
