diaperlord Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 Apparently, I'm the first Legion member to be assigned a 5-digit operating number! However, the profile update page won't let me use that many. Many thanks, Will Adamson TK 92901 Garrison Tyranus Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 Congratulations to you! I'll see to it that is gets fixed. Quote
Daetrin[Admin] Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 Nice! Though I have to confess to me they look like zip codes. I'd much preferred if they did a format extra like shown in the Clone Wars novels, e.g. TK-12/345. I'm waiting for Trooper 90210 Wondering how many people will pick their zip codes now for their TKID. Quote
Sonnenschein Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 90210 was the first thing that came to my mind, too Quote
MisterFubar[TK] Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 I'll be picking my license plate number when the time comes. Quote

matt black Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 No mate. I'm not on facebook. We used to do it on the calculators at school Quote
ean Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 No mate. I'm not on facebook. We used to do it on the calculators at school or we used 55378008 when looked at upside down Quote
Geaux Saints[TK] Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 I thought the 501st assigned TK #'s. I didn't know you selected your own. On a side note, is TK-421 "retired" and unassigned as an honorary #? Quote
diaperlord Posted September 2, 2012 Author Report Posted September 2, 2012 It was never assigned, lest there be duels over who got it. But then, who'd want the number of a guy who abandoned his post. Quote
SuperTrooper Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 It was never assigned, lest there be duels over who got it. But then, who'd want the number of a guy who abandoned his post. He didn't abandon his post, he was killed in the line of duty by rebel filth. Quote
darthyagi Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 Death is no excuse! It was sloppy discipline. He should have been on his guard. He paid for his stupidity. BTW, 5-digit TKIDs are going to be interesting. The whole Legion will have to get used to seeing them. Zip codes will run out eventually. Quote
SuperTrooper Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 BTW, 5-digit TKIDs are going to be interesting. The whole Legion will have to get used to seeing them. Zip codes will run out eventually. There are over 40,000 zip codes in the US. They won't run out any time soon. Quote
darthyagi Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 There are over 40,000 zip codes in the US. They won't run out any time soon. I didn't realize there were that many. There will be a lot of overlap, though. Imagine how angry every new trooper from Schenectady, NY will be when somebody takes the TKID 12345. It will be chaos. Quote
diaperlord Posted September 3, 2012 Author Report Posted September 3, 2012 I'm just happy that I got to use my wedding day! Quote
